Fishing In Hawks Nest

G'day fella's

I am heading up to hawks Nest over Christmas ad i am looking to get some good fishing in can anyone suggest some good spots, i will be fishing out of a boat??

Any help would be appriciated, i am not sure if anyone is familiar with the place

Im heading up over christmas as well..

I have only fished out of hire boats up there in the lakes..

Im sure outside of Yaccaba Headland would be pretty good..

How big is the boat? Ill talk to a mate who fishes up there and find out some info for you...

Thanks for that i could definatley do with some guidence up there.

What dates are you going to be up there.

I am not sure when i will be up there it will just depend how things pan out??

But if i am up there same time as you i guess i could take an extra crew member

I only have a 4.35m Aluminium boat so i rarley go outside and if i do i only pock my nose out. I will be doing most of my fishing off jimmys

There can be some good fish caught in gutters up towards the Gibber if you are happy to drive your vehicle along the beach.
