Gar or not? (Longtom)

Hey guys,

was out having a flick with a popper for the first time and caught my first ever fish on a lure... looks like a gar but not sure.

Easy way to tell the difference is stick your finger in its mouth- if you end up screaming in pain-its a longtom- if you dont-its a gar!!!

They often are hard to hook because of their Toothy/Boney Mouth, good catch for your first lure caught fish.

Yeah it was really crazy to watch it just smash it. Was a really good first lure catch.

The interesting thing about this fish is it doesn't have a stomach. Dispensed with it way back in evolution apparently.
