kingie chaser
Shame it's in a can but I know that's how it came originally. I saw it being drunk by my oldest bro as a kid but can't say I ever tried it. If it was on tap I'd try it as I am a Carlton draught drinker, amongst others. Green Hornet
I had a mate that was so keen on the stuff back in the day he named his old quinnie Cold Gold. To me it was just a headache in a can. I was into sail boat racing in my younger days and always remember the 18 foot skiff Edited July 10, 2021 by Green Hornet

wazatherfisherman
Hi Ryder remember the KB "Kegs"- 750ml steel cans? Used to get them off a bloke from Tooth's "Kent" brewery at Broadway. Sold in 12 packs only from memory

Hi Blackfish yes the kegs were glass but I thought the giant cans were out first and they were called kegs at first- or maybe I had too many and am getting it wrong! We were paying about $9-10 for a dozen from the brewery guys
Blackfish
I remember the lids on those glass kegs, take it off and had a good opening to drink out of.
Ryder
Now they’re doing Tooheys in the white cans. Reminds me of old Rex. 1

Rebel
That guy at The old brewery at the Broadway used to do a roarin trade. You are showing your age @Waza. Cheers.
