SquidMarks
Just going for a bit of a bushealk and I happened to spot some very soft, fluffy and very green weed. Its in a freshwater billabong. Just wondering if this type of weed would be any good for blackish? I have taken 2 photos (one through my sunniest to act as a bit of a filter). Sorry about the bad quality.
Isaac Ct
Depends on how long it is. If it is say longer than 5cm in should be fine but if it very short then use it for burley. I suggest taking a hook down and testing if the weed is long enough for your hook.
Pafisho08
Looks good to me. If it is long enough to twist on a size 8 hook give it a go . I have used pond weed from golf courses -- It works .
Green Hornet
I often use freshwater weed that I gather from farm irrigation drains and it definitely works well. The only true way to know for sure is grab some and give it a go.
