wrxhoon1
We got a big blue on Thursday 9th Feb. We got some livies headed out to the Botany Bay wide fads. We got a few dollies mostly undersize. We kept 6 mostly under 70 cm. We put the spread out at the fads and about an hour later the port rigger goes of. A striped puts on a show but it managed to spit the hooks. An hour later same rigger goes again. This time we see a big blue splashing on the top of the water. It dives down and we didn't see it again for 2 hours when it got close to the boat. Another 30 minutes we had him boatside, we put the tag in revived him for a few minutes and let him go to fight another day. He didn't have a tag on him. noelm
Lots of Marlin in close to Shellharbour last week, this weather change seems to have moved them on. A Blue is always good going.
