Seems the bay's been pumped out for the new Fish markets building. Maybe a good time to scout the land for future fishing.

Wow ok that makes a lot of sense. I was fishing there last night 930pm or so and there was an absolute ton of current passing under the pontoon by the Glebe rowing club. It was a southerly but way too much water passing through, it really baffled me at the time. I had thought water was being pumped in, not going out. 
A proper mid-tide looking run out, surrounded by a lot of slack water everywhere else. A perfect little eddy, prawns were jumping out madly everywhere, but I couldn’t entice any bites - the only catch being a sea hare which was a first for me at least!

All I know is that when you were at the fish market outside eating area along the water there were LOTS and LOTS of really nice sized Bream on tap when the occasional chip or three went into the drink..........
