keeping fish

I have just bought a fishing kayak and have it set up. Going to The Entrance next week to try it out instead from the bank, now what other suggestions for keeping fish other than a keeper net?

Sit a cooler bag or small esky behind you

Eski or cooler bag with ice slurry using salt water. Better still, use frozen water bottles in salt water as it doesn't dilute salt content.  I also ikijimi and bleed all fish kept to eat.  Ron

Keeper nets are not a good idea from a kayak. There is the risk of a shark grabbing the net and pulling the kayak over, not a big risk, but it is there.
