cogo44
A good day on the water south of Sydney Heads where some nice flathead came on board. However, we have never caught so many trags and tailor close in with quite a few bust offs. When a seal turned up and grabbed a few fish, it was time to move well away. Six banjo sharks were also released.

noelm
Lots of big Tailor in Lake Illawarra too, not the usual 20cm choppers, but fish over 2-3KG.
Pickles
Thanks for sharing @cogo44, we’re the trags keepers or only little ones. Haven’t been out since the temp dropped, but should be a good season on the, by all reports.
cogo44
The trags were nearly all big keepers. The bust off culprits were most likely the much smaller choppers. Edited May 14, 2023 by cogo44
