Jewfish at Roseville Bridge

Hi guys, does anyone know if there are or has caught jewfish around the Roseville bridge area or further upstream. If so do you have any tips. I’m keen to try.

No idea, but give it a try a few times and see how you go, there’s no reason they wouldn’t be there.

edit……best tips, live bait, fished in eddys and deep holes, close to structure.

There was a video circulating a few years ago of a fishing guide catching a few decent sized ones upstream of the bridge. He might have been land based from memory and got them on lures during the day

I have heard of a few being caught in the holes to the east of the bridge, never tried up there myself  but have caught them up the parra river. Your biggest problem might be bull sharks eating your live bait.

I guess when it’s all said and done, who it was, or whether he was a guide or not doesn’t matter, the question has been answered hasn’t it?

Guys I have tidied this thread up. 

There are literally dozens and dozens of videos online where Mulloway are caught.
We have Articles here on the techniques etc

We have site rules that ask us not to promote businesses or links to businesses unless approved by Deckee. 

I will give you a hint for an online search though ---- search "Craig jewfish" and have fun searching
