    A problem that may come up is if there's to much weight on the towball and you're on a steep ramp it'll make your drive wheels up front lose traction. Though I did tow similar weight boat with a camry years ago and it was ok, at least the drive wheels were on dry parts of ramp usually allowing for traction, beat rear wheel drive cars. If there's to much weight on towball and back of car bags down you could look at adjusting weight balance on trailer to help.

    Problem is, once people get burnt they are less inclined to go again, this stuff up could really hurt them for the next one. There was a 4wd and camping type one up on Central Coast not long ago and it had 2 4wd stalls, the rest was caravans really, I went for the 4wd stuff and after paying to get in and then find stuff all 4wd stalls I left in disgust and will never return or recommend anyone to go unless they want to buy a caravan.

    Not just the weight of the trailer but the weight that's being put on the towball itself, I personally wouldn't be towing it with what info you have given. What vehicle is it, got year, model etc?

    I just use electrical tape to stop slippage and spool all the braid on but I buy in longer lengths than 125 yards.

    I'm led to believe that the wharf at Murrays Beach is actually privately owned, i'm trying to get conformation on it. Be nothing worse if it is and idiots force owners to gate it.

    Interesting read and welcome to the forum. The lake is healthier now BUT since commercial fishing stopped it has had an increase in shark sightings, probably due to the increase in fish numbers. I've also found that since commercial fishing stopped and shark activity has increased that i'm now catching smaller fish, are the sharks eating the bigger ones? That is just a theory of mine btw haha.

    There are better units around, I personally think the lowrance isn't very good compared to others on the market but i guess any name brand sells..... Yes I have the HDI.

    The lights there are not broken, due to the number of complaints from local residents about the riff raff and noise at night etc the timer for the lights has been turned off, always a minority wrecking it for everyone, thing is the riff raff were locals to the area, just from other suburbs and usually under 20yrs old. There's plenty of squid around Pulbah Island if you have a boat.

    Money talks and it's his livelihood, there is no loyalty these days. You should look at the 4wd scene, you got Roothy who was true blue and now supports Chinese imported products, the list goes on in any sport etc.

    Disgusting, you'd think they'd be doing everything possible to either contain or clean it up.

    That wharf used to be nice to fish at until the bogans and drunks made a mess of it and houses around there got tired of the noise and swearing and mess, now all the lights are turned off at night, quite a shame because it used to be so nice down there.
