Hey Raiders, Has anyone else tried the "Marine Zones" app for android and iOS? It has the marine zones and artificial reefs for the East Coast of Australia and is pretty accurate, yes you have to pay for it but worth every cent, stop you drifting into areas you shouldn't. Last summer was supposed to be hot n dry, ended up like the northern wet season, they got no idea haha -
The lake itself is quite shallow, you can actually walk from one side of it to the other if you know where the shallows are haha

Yup been cleaning up also in the lake with squid, southern end. Three nights out, three days of good feeds.

For those that don't want to believe or those that couldn't be bothered their own bit of research on this matter i've supplied a link and an extract from Taronga Zoo on the matter. Pflueger Salt is a great reel, used one for GT's up north and it didn't miss a beat, good value for the money.

I'd have to say and agree with other comments, support your local tackle store, without them you won't have fresh bait etc. Yes sometimes it is cheaper online or the big chain stores but without the little fella you will not have specialty gear etc. Look what happened to Bias Boating, that place was great for specialty stuff.

Need new antenna, a 27mhz one will not work with VHF, leave the wiring if you can, just change antenna.

Something had to give and they wouldn't do it themselves so the government did it for them, maybe if they'd been proactive it wouldn't have come to this. -
I have an Allycraft and have had no issues at all with it, good strong boat.
