Hey Guys,
Are they out yet and has anyone fished them and how did you go
Cheers

In my opinion i would go for a daiwa seajigger 10-15kg very light rod and its a great rod for spinning off the rocks there fairly pricey but well worth it ive got one in the 6-10kg and it can cast metal slices a mile

If you want to learn wets??? I can assist you
What wt flyline and rod have you got ie DT/WF 7 WT FLOATING
Cheers Stewy
Its a daiwa 4 weight rod and reel i bought it as a combo i need backing and flyline so maybe you could give me a hint as to what i need???
-
You will need to decide if you are going to dry fly or wet fly fish ???
Wets are a lot easier and you do not need the fine diameter leaders neeeded for dry flys.
Cheers Stewy
If i guess correctly dry flys are the ones that float on top of the water and the wets sink below the surface???
and if its easier to learn i would be guessing wet fly fish

Hi guys,
i recently bought a fly rod and reel and want to know some suggestions for flies for trout as ive never fly fished and really want to get into it and maybe if someone knows the phone number of a good guide that could give me a few lessons
Cheers Bustoff

Top first bass, can i ask what did he take...looks like a trout spinner.
It took a bluefox spinner in rainbow trout colour thats why i was kind of surprised i actually caught it

UFC is insane.. real brutal stuff haha.
YG
UFC is boring especially with all those crappy wrestling techniques Muay Thai now thats a real sport anyways to the real point gotta give it to danny green even though jones is definately not in his prime green is no spring chicken either hes 36 and still going pretty strong. Im going to go to the mundine fight and support a local boy THE DEADLY ROBERT MEDLEY seen a few of his fights live and if medley goes as well as ive seen him before mundine is in for a tough fight

You will need to check out water levels as they do close access at times to Lake Lyle
The power station at Wallerwrang has closed due to lack of water
The water comes via Lake Lyle so it sounds like threr may be no access
You can ring Lake Lyle to find out
I was up there yesterday and there were plenty of boats on the water
-
Hi guys,
went up to lake lyell today for a quick flick for some trout and first cast in got a massive hit and this thing pulled like a freight train thought i was on to a massive trout but no jumps out of the water which i thought was strange and as it got closer i realised i caught my first bass measured 32cm and was pretty fat after a few happy snaps back in the water it went after that no more fish were caught but had a few missed hook ups
Cheers Bustoff

Hi mate,
check out the berkley dropshot rods, you should be able to pick one up for well under $100 and for that price I don't think there's a better rod. As the others have said it's crucial to have the right gear for lure fishing, especially so when you want to cast small lures around.
Good luck
As ajb says go check out a berkley dropshot i got mine for 90 bucks 1-4kg matched with a little symetre 1500 and 6lb braid great rod that can throw plastics and little poppers and hardbodies a good distance most of the time i prefer to take this over my t curve
Good luck

The speed at which a boat is driven determines whether a person needs to be licensed. Any person who drives a powered vessel for recreational purposes on NSW waters at a speed of 10 knots or more must have a boat driver’s licence. Ten knots is the speed at which most accelerating boats will start to plane – that is rise up and skim on top of the water instead of ploughing through it. The exception is anyone who drives a personal watercraft (PWC) at ANY speed must have a PWC Licence.
Here's the link you need, mate:
Cheers
Hodgey
Thanks for that mate was quite confused some people have told me that it depended on the size of the boat motor or the boat
-
hi guys,
Just a quick question what are the rules on boat licences if i buy a tinny with a small motor say a 9.9hp or below do i need to have a boat licence or is it only for larger boats???
Thanks
