  1. Ray you're a gentleman.......thank you so much for the birthday wishes, and what better way to celebrate. The Mrs has spoilt me rotten this year by booking me an outing tomorrow with Ross Hunter. I hope the weather keeps on like this and i come back with a great report for everyone. Cheers Robert

    David you're hilarious but i think it is a lebanese thing cause that 's how my gran, mother and mother in law still do it and it tastes devine. They also fry whiting and barbounia this way. Cheers Robert
  3. G'day Scotty, I've never tried this with fish fillets but have with calarmari, chicken, beef etc and it works a treat. Get two kiwi fruit, peel them and chop them up in bowl placing your meat in there as well. Fill it up with some water, enough that the meat is submerged in there. Leave it for at least half an hour or longer if desired and mate i'll tell ya once cooked the meat will melt in your mouth. Cheers Robert

  8. G'day Peter, Thanks for a great report I always enjoy them and the pics......funny about the small flatties.......we went out to bate bay yesterday and caught 16 flatheads but all being tiny. Only 6 were keepers. The weather sure was glorious however and I hope it sticks around...... Keep up the great reports....love your work. Regards Robert

  10. Just came back from there mate and i'll tell ya......some of the boats were unbelievable.....also nice to see such a vast range there.....it was our first time and i highly recommend if you've never been. cheers rob

G'day Pete, Another great report, from another fantastic day, you're definately on fire producing the goods mate.....it's good to see the weather holding up nicely and seeing plenty of fish being caught down RNP way. I'm wanting to try my luck down there sometime soon but hoping you can give me some advice about conditions down that way.......does it take long to get from bate bay to say wattamolla? besides jibbon Bombora are there any other hazards to be aware about? G'day Beginner, Mate i share your frustration.......i've been going down there everyweekend but don't give up there's fish down there you just gotta pick your spots, look at peter s he seems to be on the right thing. i've seen many people fishing from gymea bay up to gray's point pulling in nice size bream......i my self have been targeting great turriel bay and towards bate bay still trying to get that nice sized pinky. keep persisting , cheers Rob

  23. Mate, we went back out there yesterday and only managed to catch a southern calamari.........i think there's still lots for me to learn
  24. G'day raiders, After my first cuttle fish yesterday we headed back down to the hacking today despite the crappy weather hoping to catch a few more. We slowly crawled down to fishermans bay and managed to pull out my first southern calamari. Cheers Robert
