  1. jd's boatshed also in taren point do seafarer, they seem to be a bit pricey, but andrew short i also think are expensive too. i bought a motor from jd's last year and service was ok, just KNOW what you want!! GOOD LUCK
  2. computing class is usually my daily look at the fourms, (no computing today- 4:50pm) also good the check the whether, and sometimes do some work
  3. my sister just bought a HP DV 2000 with Vista. very nice machine, 1GB Ram, very good screen, and 80 GB hard drive She got it for $1500 with 3 yr warrenty, bag (cheapy) any questions feel free to ask!!! Cam
  4. Simpkons wrecked a good game again, i could have done a fairer job!!!
  5. didn't get any pics as i released all the fish
  6. went out for a fish today around 9am. headed out towards my spot XYZ at the oyster racks in wooloware bay. first couple of prawns in got decent hits. got 2 whiting and 3 bream and lost something on the way up , looked like a bream but not sure. Used all my bait up quickly so i was home by 12:00. the fish were hitting every bait i gave then, getting pretty intense for a river seesion.
  7. when was the last time you went to a boat hire outlet, because not may have yamaha's they stick to the Merchatsu (tohatsu built, merc decals) Sorry to say but yamaha ain't my motor of choice. a cheap tohatsu does a better job for me.
  8. in botany bay i have only been check once and they had a go at us for having too smaller engine on a too large boat about 4yrs ago. there wasn't any rules about that last time i checked. Well san sausi fisheries have a 5.8m (or abouts) plate alloy boat which hasn't moved for over a year!!! but in the last week i have seen them with a new EDENCRAFT with twin yamaha four strokes(think 225HP). Maybe some more patrols For Botany Bay, i'm up for that.
  9. most new 15HP motors should be around $2195 but i would say it may be possible to get one for $1999. Good Luck
  10. i am left handed i use right hand wind as it is more common in baitcasters and i can borrow a mates and not be un-co. i think it is just what you feel good with and makes no difference to catch rate
  11. i would say the an additional over flow is needed. the rule of thumb is the overflow is three times bigger than the input. i.e 18 input - 54mm overflow. A tap may also help so it can be turned off when not needed. this is what i have been told and i have seen it in pratice and it has worked. Cam
  12. if upgrading which you are i would recommend a 4.2m as a 3.75 is not as beamy and will not handle the bay that well. BTW been out in a 10ft in the bay and i am CRAZY!!! and i would never do it again!! Cam
  13. Location Sylvania Holts Pt place ramp, 1 1/2 lanes in full concrete Ample parking - never anywhere near full Only negative is can be hard in a afternoon NE seabreeze been there with a 6m boat on king low tide with no problems. Nice beach on northern side at low tide

  18. tom ugly's bridge has a tap just bring the hose!!
  19. i live near holt pt rd and the ramp goes forever, been there with a 6m boat on king low tide with no problems. With your 4.3m alloy it would be a beeze. if there is a strong NE winds it can sometimes be abit hard. PM me if you you are going to launch down there. Pic BTW som nice sand to drag the boat up at low tide, no rocks on the northern side Plenty of parking

  25. hi bisso i am very sad to see that this problem is contiuning down such a bad road. However may i ask who the dealers is, as when i recently bought my tohatsu (9.8HP) the sales men were treating me like royality ( got alot of free timtams ) and when i had a small problem, the cable connections from the tiller arm to the carby, they offered to deliver it back to my house once the repair was done!! Anyway the repair was done on the spot and i got more timtams!! It seems that you must have got a dud dealer. BTW The dealer was JD's Boat shed in taren point and they now don't have free timtams Cam
