  7. no she isn't an old style clinker boat, although i wouldn't mind that. she is a 10ft lightweight aluiminum (s). i don't know what brand she is but i think she is a one off , or home built. here she is ready to go fishing. i have had her for nearly 3 years now, i started off with a 4HP yamaha but later moved up to a 9.8HP tohatsu and now she flies around the lower georges. i also added last year this beautifu l anchor well / storage area. i have a place for everything on my boat, no lose items. -before anchor well the anchor well / storage
  8. yeah its totally removable so it can hose it out. i'm not too worried about having 100% clean as the maggots can clean any tinny bit of bait for me. it's made out of ply and pine we the use of 316 stainless steel screws, i thought about using a cutting board material but decided that ply would be good enough for me
  9. hello all. over the last week i've spent some time building a bait board to fix my problems when keeping bait. previously i would keep my bait on the middle bench seat and it would fall onto the floor everytime i moved fishing spots. i also added some space to store the all important fishing tools. last of all i gave it a quick coat of paint now i just need to catch some fish
  10. i saw botany bay water police taking their big boat out, at a faster speed than usual, i just asumed more apec training. i hope everyone involve is safe
  11. what do you mean poor conditions?? those photos look pretty flat. nice tailor
  12. i have looked at doing a similar course run by the coast guard but i didn't want to go out and do a course on 4 weeknights, so i would probably be interested in a one day weekend course. Location could be a problem for a young guy like me. Sounds good though
  13. it only works when some one good is behind it. therefore stewy is good let's see more of the same, to come in the future
  14. good work boys A bit of info on the car 1981 production using ford 351 chevland, 410 produced world wide about 15 made it to australia. people say that half have probably been written off. that one pictured is a jap car which is the GTS spec. dad's is an auto and the power output WAS 330HP (DIN) as written in the log book. it has 230bhp as dyno test late last year, which isn't too much loss over 25yrs. does 0-100km in approximentally 6.8 seconds. not a very heavy car about 1700kg, a ss commodore is about 1750kg so similar. has dual fuel tanks and some other very nice touches!! having some mirror electrical problem but most car this age would suffer similar. the inteior is in ok condition, the back seats are perfect, but the front will be redone soon as well as the carpet. We are looking to get into the targa tasmania 2008 ford wheels are going to be changed, work for the time been
  15. i see an impostor, the cam of the georges river was not on that trip unfortnautally. just didn't want any confusion about who i am.
  16. but you need to do it in style. i've put up a pic of the same car as my dad's just his is RED (therefore faster) I will keep you guessing what it is
