  8. Hello Fellow Raiders, Long time no report in fact it's been over 2 months since my last decent fish so when I got a call up yesterday to have a fish in my mates tinny I quickly rescheduled all other plans in a flash What followed was some of the hotest action I've had in Middle Harbour.. 2 PB's and 3 or 4 bust up that simply couldn't be stopped.. even on 20lb line. The vital statistics 1 King at 3.8 kg - 69cm , 1 Snapper at 2.2kg - 53cm PB and a cracking Bream at 1.2kg - 42cm another PB for me so to say I was wrapped is an understatement. We used fresh squid and Nippers for Bait and believe it or not the Kingy was caught on the ever reliable Nipper Get out there guys and upgrade your gear there's some monsters out there Tight Lines Sam

  13. Hi Raiders, Been a while since I've posted a report I know..heaps going on in my life at the moment but when I got a call up for a fish today from a loyal mate, I couldn't resist but drop everything and release the long build up of tension Anyway the day started early and we hit a few spots near some Oyster leases but the water was very cold. We fished hard with Nippers and Chicken Gut and in the end managed 7 Bream biggest going 34cm 1 flathead going 45cm and a surprise Whiting giving a good account of itself at 31cm. Make no mistake it was tough out there and we worked hard to catch what we did. Not much I know and although we had a camera on us I couldn't be bothered taking a shot of such a measly catchNonetheless it was my mates Birthday and we shared a few together so from that front it was a great day on the water with a great mate Just wanted to post mainly to say g'day to all the fellow raiders and that I managed to finally get out after a long 6 weeks ps We burleyed like never before and couldn't raise 1 Trevor at Pittwater on the run in.. are they still around? Cheers Sam
  14. Mate as you say being on the water itself your a winner..I finally got the long awaited call from my mate with a boat who's keen to give the Hawk a crack within the week I'm stinging to get out there catching fishing will be a bonus.. nice report by the way

  17. Who put the steroids in the water up there?! Awesome simply awesome
  18. As you say Kingie better to be on the drink than off it and some reward for your efforts as well. First it was the world cup that had me hooked and now I'm moving house so to say that I'm itching to get out there is an understatement.. patience as with the new house comes the boat
  19. Good report there Mako..good to see the Bay still producing the odd catch during these cooler months.Geez I'm hanging for a fish

  22. Top catch Netic! That's a classic winters day fishing trip.. no Trev's under the Sambo's mate? Geez I'm stinging to get out and have a bash, am glad the world cup is over
  23. Great lizards Baz Believe it or not by PB Flattie was caught in July 2 years ago outside of Cockatoo Island in the middle of July wnet 83cm so you do get em.
  24. I'd have to say pound for pound the mighty Kingfish is a freight train in our estuary systems where I do most of my fishing but my all time favourite is chasing big Bream Unweighted nipper with 8lb line amongst structure um yeah hang on and the beauty is you will always get more than 1.. Mind you I caught a Spanish Mackeral at Coffs a few years ago and that went well.
