  1. Great to see you are enjoying the joys of fishing mate and everything that comes with it even catching the ol PJ's.. I think they are in plague numbers at the moment in the bay as the last few times I have been I have caught them consistently, regardless if I was fishing with Bream gear or chasing Tailor on they would come! Although they are not a table fish they have every right to be there and attack our offerings
  2. Well done.. I'm jealous!!
  3. Great haul of Breambo's there mate.. gotta love the Bay when it fire's like that otherwise it can be a of a place to fish!

  19. Mate good read first up Monday morning as I log on again thinking how good would it be to be out on the bay as opposed to the office oh well have to wait to the weekend again I guess.. Great catch as well I might add, I too fished the bay on Saturday and probably had the hardest session this year 1 Bream just on legal, I decent flounder and no Trevs?? yet the week before I could have caught them all day! Was it the conditions after 7 as it was like a glass lake out there and very little current.. dunno but you catch shows they're still out there! well done
  20. Penguin out with the penguins sounds like you had some fun out there mate plus a nice Autumn catch there.. gotta love the Trevs this time of year and they will only get bigger as the water continues to cool down good catch any size to the Tailor yet?

    Bream

Tip Top effort mate..gotta love Bream like that especially this time of year which I reckon is Bream time! good catch
  22. G'day Raiders, I've been lucky enough to get some time off work and with that opportunity I thought I'd take a mates offer and stay up at his weekender up at Lake Macquarie for a few days. I've only fished it once before from a houseboat and it was great fun your usual estuary catch ie flatties, bream, whing etc. As I'll be land based this time ( hiring a tinny from Pelican point ) is definately an option I'll have new opportunities to look forward to. I was just wandering how the Lake was fishing this time of year? and if anyone knows whether I can pump nippers up there at all.. the kids have a ball doing this. Cheers Sam ps I'll be staying at Belmont
  23. Nice haul of Tailor there champ.. a lot of people don't rate them but eaten fresh with a good old Greek recipe they are one of the best eating fish I reckon well done
  24. Great catch there and even better feed! looks very tasty
  25. As they say you never forget your first..Kingy that is well done mate awesome fish!
