  2. Hi Guys... What bright ideas/suggestions or tricks does anyone have to keep the rust at bay on trailer rotors while stored at home on my driveway...boat is fully covered down to chines but same as if you leave your car even for few days in rain the rotors start to rust despite religious wash down at ramp and at home to minimise any salt residue? Cheers matt
  3. I have cleaned my carpet before very successfully with some "sugar soap" detergent in bucket and use hand held stiff scrubbing brush for all the squashed in pieces...then just soak it with hose to wash all off and flood out back of boat...then get small piece of pine wood maybe 30 cm long with round smooth edge like the 90x35 building pine lengths you can buy at bunnings and push hard and run it along the carpet like a squidgy you would use across a glass window...works treat and pushes all excess water out and any dirty water remaining in carpet to drain out back of boat and then the carpet is truly dry in no time at all that way!
  4. Hey guys...hoping someone ideally living in Sydney or within 2 hrs drive nth/sth has a 2300 Noosa Cat that I can come and ideally go for a run with them in. 5. Day started about 7am in water with the Mrs catching some Yakkas in quick time but was pretty Windy from the West already....... but by mid-morning wind had died completely and Ocean almost glassed out! Current was ripping out at the peak as another post had warned the other day but drifting fast with it kept the lines down... By 1030am had landed my PB King...very fat and healthy and came up 89cm on lie detector and 8kg. First 40 secs of the fight was real tug of war as he ran for the bottom ripping line off the reel so fast under a high drag pressure the moisture in the line went to mist and made it look like it was smoking. This was the christening of my new JigWrex Rod and could not be happier with how it performed....Took him on a blue jig..... but landed another 2 monster Bonito and also a Barracuta with their shocking mouths on live Yakkas Weather ended up being fantastic and fishing too! Cheers guys
