  1. Not sure what the place is called but when Jim and I go for nippers, you drive through the national park to get there. I wil ask him when he gets home. Go low tide and we too go down about 3/4 length of the pump. Seriosly we get maybe 100 or so in about 10 minutes.
  2. Ah yes I just realised! Moving up in the fishing forum world! Ha now 201

  7. Definately looks like an Estuary Perch.
  8. Hi All - Jim here Went out last night into the Bay. Started at a jew spot. Hmmm spent most of the night trying to tie hooks as I cut my fingers. Still stingng. Anyway fell asleep at the best time - 2 AM - woke up at 4 and found my lines in tangles. An XOS port jackson shark decided to make a mess of my lines while I was sleeping. Managed to fix lines and thre livies and squid out. Within 5 minutes 1 rod buckled over and screamed - definate jew. My heart raced as its been 1 month since my last one - grabbed the rod and did not set the hooks properly - shook his head and sayonara. Spent 1 hour catching more livies. Hmm gees they were all big. Hit Molineux and threw 3 livies out. Got 1 hit only and it was a sambo. Very quiet so I headed out the heads and North. Found a nice possie around Coogee and anchored. Threw out floating squid baits and 2 livies. Got 2 kings - large trevally - a bonnie and 2 salmon. Not a bad effort - heard about the southerly so I raced back in. I am buggered now so going to bed - sorry no pics - was half asleep and forgot to take pics. Looking forward to jewie social on weekend.

  11. Jim always tells me he is going to run away to NT to fish and has tried to convince me a honeymoon there would be perfect! I thought they looked great so good on you.
  12. Looks beautiful. I think its weird to think crocs swim around with everything else. I think I think that way cause you don't see that here. Nice work.
  13. Aern't they just beautiful! Sounds like a good time and glad you could share your pic! One day might get the opportunity to catch one of those marvelous fish!
  14. Ditto! Its sad that things happen like this but would you drive your car at night without lights???? So so so many nights in Botany Bay you see boats without lights. Do they think cause they are anchored they dont need them anymore???? I am sure alot of people obey rules on the water but from my endless nights and mornings on the boat, there is so many that don't. The people that zoom through the bridges on the Georges, even when packed with boats or of a night a couple of times in the bay we have settled in the little cove around from mol and boats fly past. I reckon sometimes deliberately cause you are out of the main stream of water, but dead set their are just as many wankers in boats as there are good ones! Shame really. You cant seem to relax and do anything these days without someone being an idiot! Anyways I will shut up now. Stupid
  15. Great fish! Fish off the beach is a totally different ball game to boat etc. So to nail one thats gold! Great job.
  16. Happy Birthday to all. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and catch lots of fishies!
  17. Think Jim and I heading out tomorrow arvo for an all nighter! Hopefully come back on Sat with a boat full of fishies!!! ( preferably Jew and Kingies!)
  18. Hello. Jim and I used to get them near Molineux where that little beach part is. often topless women i have noticed! When they were on we would get heaps and big ones too! but then sometimes might only get 2 or 3 but they will get you straight away if they are there. Not a good description but i suppose if you know mol you will know where i mean.
  19. Congratulations on now being married! Bit slow I know.
  20. Hi there Just spent the run out around Gladesville - Did no good - tried everywher around the bridge. Nothing - Even tried 4 other holes down river for nothing. Had good bait too. This is one place I just cannot seem to get a jew in - I have caught heaps around here of the land butnone on my boat (5th time attaempt) - very frustrated - sounded the old pilons on the bottom on the southern side - fished in front and behind them. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it - y the way Thanks James
  21. Well done Mate Bloody awesome session - fish are definately going to be hungry after the terrible weather we have had. I now live close to the Parra river and will begin to fish it - I have trid under the Gladesville bridge without much result - Is the hole on the Northern Side? or on the Southern Side (Five Dock side) and were you fishing the run up or out?
