  2. nice work mate good to see the salmon in abundance
  3. Praying for some sort of miracle I don't understand how you can demolish England by 400+ runs then get absolutely annihilated the next 2 tests
  4. A couple of my mates have been catching them in the harbour, But they are most abundant off the beaches of central coast. Very thick at the moment
  5. That is a nice sized squid in anyone's books. Great work to the young fella
  6. Awesome work mate, Now it's about getting one for the plate
  7. Thanks mate Really appreciate all the info, Although I plan on buying a proper runabout in summer, I still plan on keeping the inflatable for those solo quick fishing sessions. Hopefully my first report with the inflatable comes soon Cheers
  8. Why do tinnies come with a bail out bucket? Please try to stay on topic I'm trying to obtain some indormation so I can make an appropriate decision and gain a deeper understanding from the wonderful people here at fishraider. I'm not trying to start a pointless debate.
  9. Cheers mate Really appreciated
  10. How old was his boat? Today's inflatables are constructed much better and some of the top brands are meant to with stand the force of a knife falling from a decent height But then again bream spikes are pretty deadly, been poked a couple times and it hurts. Lol
  11. Not paertcularly true The convenience of storage is a huge plus for many people and there is no need to tow it making it perfect for people with small cars I've been on a couple inflatables and as long as your not doing anything stupid, nothing will happen to boat.
  12. Hey raiders, Didn't want to start a new thread for this but need some info on the blue line inflatable boats. Has anyone had any experience with them? I've searched fish raider and all over the internet but can't get any reviews or decent info on them Cheers
  13. Thanks so much for that detailed information I've spoken to a number of people with inflatables and they love them, seems like a good idea to get one Answered a lot of my questions and also raised some as well Just wondering, the Railblazer uses special adhesive pad to stick the rod holder mount to the inflatable. Would this damage the boat in anyway and would the adhesive lose its stickiness after a while? and also the outboard hasn't been used in a while, is there anything i should look out for to identify if there is anything wrong with it? The last thing i want is an unreliable motor considering how inexperienced i am with boats cheers
  14. Clifton gardens is very unpredictable, it is very overfished so I tend to stay away from it. But that doesnt mean you won't catch fish, it can produce well at times ' Burley up and send unweighted baits can get you some good fish As for summer, kingies/bonito/salmon are caught often. Mainly with live yakka or squid under a float. It can be a fun spot
  15. Hey Raiders, Been looking to get into the boating game for a while now, as I have predominantly been land based. I want to buy a inflatable boat with a small outboard just to get some experience before upgrading to a newer boat in the near future. I wanted to buy a 2 year old suzuki df5 (5hp 4 stroke) but the owner hasn't used it for 18 months. I am no expert with outboards so I was wondering what to look out for when inspecting it, If it doesn't start, does that mean it just needs a service or is there a bigger underlying problem. etc etc Also does anyone have any experience with Newport Inflatable boats, how do they compare with zodiacs/achillies? Any info on these matters would be appreciated. Cheers
