I think you are correct as I it took me ages to get it stated as it flooded etc and I had disconnected fuel lines etc. Hopefully that's all it is as it does look like gear oil. It's seems thin and darker in colour

Hi, I have just purchased an older boat with a old 50hp 2 cyl Johnson 2 stroke. I noticed that when I trim up motor oil leaks between the where the leg bolts to the engine housing. Do I have big problem here? Any advice?

Hi, I just bought older 4.8 m alloy boat and was hoping someone could advise if I should have a motor well fabricated to the boat or leave it as is. I am concerned if I used it on occasion outside it may take some water from the rear rather then run out if it had a well. Any advice or recommendations will be appreciated

Got out early this morning trying to catch squid, managed 3 in an hour so decided to head to fishing spot. All 3 squid were taken by bream and a red. Not what I was targeting but not complaining. Ended up with a few more bream largest going 39cm and largest red going 41cm. I caught 2 of these crabs. Never seen one before and have been fishing here of or over 30 years . Can anyone identify these and if it was eatable? They look like a cross between a mud and blue swimmer.

I got hammered by these pests in 2 meters of water just off the golf course at palm beach on Saturday. I have not seen them there before in over 20 years of fishing.

Yes they are an awesome specimen. I had little luck last winter catching them and got this one by accident.

Hairtail officially 1.93 . 3 Jews from 68-74cm

I don't have anything that long to measure it but I am 1.84 and longer than me. It's got a very long thin tail that is folded on floor which is not evident in photo. I will measure when home.

Came out for a quick fish this evening as my wife had a hair dressers appointment. Took my 3yo and 7yo boys in hope of a Jew around the tide change. My 7yo hooked up to this beauty. Have not measured but looks 2m plus. Very supprised and happy now waiting on the Jews.

I use Stradics in 1000,4000 and 5000. I love them and they are great value for money. I give mine very little love and use them once or twice a week. I have never had them apart for a clean or service since i have owned them and some are over 5 years old.

Thank you! We pumped the biggest nippers I have ever seen. Enough for the afternoon fishing were pumped in half an hour! To top off the day my young blokes caught 3 whiting that we're just on a kilo each and a large flounder at the same place as pumping the nippers. Thanks again
