  1. Great effort young fella. You truly are addicted to go out in that weather today. Your dad must be the same as you too. Well done for your persistence! Cheers scratchie!!!

  5. Have you seriously got the bug??? Lol. There's no real point sounding fish greater than 300m unless your using an electric! Just keep an eye on that first 60-80 fathoms! Cheers scratchie!!!
  6. I'll find the fish, the hard bit is catching the bloody things!
  7. Well, your on mate. Next year I'll find a new spot away from everyone! Lol. Don't worry we'll still clean up!P.s yes rayseniors boat is gold and an invite there should seriously be taken by someone. Great bloke and really nice boat!
  8. Witha, I take different people each year and if you dare to come with scratchie your welcome!
  9. For the record, I couldn't let the boys outshine me, so this arvo I went out and caught a bigger squid but smaller snapper! Competition in our family is great. But there catching me really quickly! Cheers scratchie!!!
  10. To my knowledge..... Yft- yellow fin tuna Sbt- southern bluefin tuna Bft- longtail tuna.
  11. Yeah well done Ty. It was great to come down and see you on something big! There were calls from Jew to big snapper. You played it really well and even drew a crowd of tourists. It's a shame the head shakes you were getting were because it was hooked on a flap. Well done little champ Cheers scratchie!!!
  12. Isn't that ironic, I just bought a few new jigs today from a shimano rep! I must have known something!
  13. Happened to me at the social, last year I was by myself, this year I had this tool do donuts around my boat then he proceeded to anchor so his rods hit my binimi. Bloody stewy the carp fisherman! Then there were the other 998 boats within a 100m radius! But you know what, they were all fishraiders...catching fish, talking, sledging and having a great time. So all good. But yes I do understand what you mean. We have a gps mark up here called the carpark and for a very good reason! Chin up mate, as long it doesn't happen every time you go out! Cheers scratchie!!!
  14. Well, talk to me at the start of next year and see if we can get a scent blazer/fishraider team together. I reckon I could get a few together. I'm heading to Darwin in October with a few raiders for a 5day trip and can't wait!!!
  15. That's why I can go Tuesday! My job interview is on Monday!!! Lol.
  16. Is the pope catholic?? Next Tuesday sounds good. I'll organise a crew if you want one!
  17. Do you need a crew? Would be quiet happy to join you at a moments notice! Lol Good luck!
  18. Good stuff yowie! You know when those reddies turn up it's time to go! Bait thieving bludgers. Salmon on handline, nice Cheers scratchie!!!
  19. Have it up in port stephens and you can all stay at my house! Lol
  20. Yes mate PS. About 300m from my house! Good luck if you get our on the weekend.
  21. Your not wrong mate. This is a great little spot on the stones for them.
  22. Wow........what a great social. I definately didn't catch as many as last year, probably due to the 999 boats in "scratchies spot". But do you know what, I really don't care because this social had so many firsts for so many raiders, the information sharing was well worth it. I left the social Saturday morning to chase fin with 4 other raiders, in which we had success, to return to even more raiders catching their first ever hairtail. From raysenior to the young fellas, everyone was in true FR spirit. It was great to see so many raiders and such a well organised event. Something that I wished to add that really dawned on me over the weekend.... Whether your an active member like myself and catch up with many raiders(sometimes weekly) or lurking the forum and learning from the many experienced fishos that are on here, this is the best fishing website in the world. And thanks to the passion and commitment of Donna and Stewy we are all very lucky to be a part of this fabulous community. So get out there and enjoy yourself and feel free to share your experiences with us all. Hope to see many more of you next year! Cheers scratchie!!!
  23. Happy birthday FR, and I'm glad I am a part of this awesome site! And look forward to the many years to come! Cheers scratchie!!!
