    Hey mike, there's no bonito up at port either! The water is a bit cold ATM. Have caught the odd one or two but they are not prolific as last year! This is maybe why we aren't seeing many hoodlums, they love bonito! Where as the rats will pretty much eat anything. Just my opinion! Cheers scratchie!!!

    Well done on your trip BSJ. Nothing like a good feed after a successful day especially when taking a newbie. That whiting was probably taken by a Noah. I use them for live bait all the time chasing jewies but occasionally have the same thing happens! Great work! Cheers scratchie!!!

    I'm guessing from what you described, maybe a wobbygong shark??? Similar to a catfish and/or flathead but at 30kg wouldn't be either. With no real fight, that's my guess! Just a dead weight! Unlucky on your target mate but good on you for sticking to your guns and having a go! Keep researching and persevering and you will get your rewards! Cheers scratchie!!!

    For the record, I was born year of the tiger! Someone else actually said the year of the snake almost finished. Can't wait. The year so far has had it's ups and downs! The bigger the up the bigger the down! Oh well, such is life! At least the fish are still biting!

    There was no way I was diving on that snag. And yeah I'm shattered $400 note over the side! Was getting them on a yellow/silver orange belly fatdog38 deep diver!
