  3. Never even attempted pumping in the bay i presumed they were over fished. Hacking on the other hand you can get you limit in 10 minutes.

  10. With the big tide this Saturday thinking about trying to get my first surface bream, was goona try around the mangroves in Woolaware Bay and around Towra, any other spots that produce? Was also thinking i might head up the Wonny.

  13. Have you seen Extreme boats Big Angry Fish? They use huge salmon as Kingy live bait and have great success!!

  17. That place is loaded with fish. My old man reckons before the sanctuary was brought in he had quite a few jew spots in there.
  18. If it say 15 knot NE in the morning chances are it will be a 5-10 NW up until around lunch time. Never ever plan a trip around Seabreeze Willyweather etc, wake up first thing and check the conditions yourself.
  19. Are squid strips an effective bait on the downrigger? Good kings btw and love the irony of the hat!
  20. Ive got a Shimano T Curve deepsea jigging 200 matched with a Shimano Thunnus 8000, absolutley awesome and the baitrunner style reel comes in handy when downrigging and setting the depth (also good if you want to target Jews). Might be just out of your price range though.
  21. Thanks fellas, ended up at Shark Island they were everywhere along with some yakkas. Caught a 63cm kingy there too.
