    GOMOKU ROD

They are built for micro jigging. You can use them for other purposes but they were made for micro jigging
  3. Hi all I haven't fished these places landbased before. Looking to chase whiting and bream on surface lures on the flats. Any spots would be appreciated thanks Cheers Ethan
  4. Not sure at Windsor but a mate got few ep, flatties but you have to get the tides right and find where there are. There are usually in schools so where there is one there will probably find many
  5. The trout would have probably died off by now because of the summer water, and it's closed bass season aswell so they don't want anyone targeting them because of spawning and any caught have to be released unharmed . Pretty much useless trying the nepean this time of year. Cheers Ethan
  6. The boat ramp is beach. On high tide you can go on croncrete if isn't high tide you will be pulling out on the sand. When you have your boat hooked up and going to go out, reverse out of your trailer marks then pull out. Seen a few getting bogged there before. Also don't go out on a northeast swell goes straight into the boat ramp which causes waves and is hard to hook up. Cheers Ethan
  7. I fished at bendalong in the holidays and did well getting nice size snapper around the 40cm warm and a few big mowies. Just go out about 2km from bendalong point in about 25-35m and you should do good Cheers Ethan
  8. On the site it only had 1/40th then 1/28th
  9. Just had a look and the one heavier one then the ones I have are 1/28th
  10. I'm using them in less than a metre of water so I don't really want to go any heavier. Is there any that are a tad heavier than the 1/40th or are there any secrets to fixing it. My 2 and a half inch grubs work fine but there are on 1/12th
  11. Hi all, got a pack of zman 2 inch and 1/40th hidden weight tt jig heads yesterday. I tested them in the pool today and wasn't happy. They were rigged dead straight and when I was slow rolling it would just spin in barrels. Has any one had the same problem or know how to fix it? And help will be appreciated. Cheers ethan
  12. When I went last week there wasn't but the tides weren't that big
  13. I fished there for a bit in the school holidays. I was walking the flats and covered quite a bit of ground didn't get a bite or see a fish. If your landbased watch where you are walking lots of small stingrays about
  14. Pm will be sent in a second And yeah been doing quite we'll lately in middle harbour
  15. Hi all went out to middle harbour yesterday evening after school as it was my last day and dad had the day off. Got there at around 7ish and was no wind what so ever even know it said it was going to be 10 knit winds. Caught about ten yakkas at where we slept on the boat and a few tailor. Next morning got to our spot were we have done well lately. Got there and was no wind and burleyed a lot and fish were there within a minute. Got about 8 trevally then went all quite and saw pretty big leatherjacket in the trail. Ended up getting 6 and kept 4 for the table as we don't keep that many. Then started to caught little snapper and ended up leaving by 11. All in good day fishing the weather was better than was predicted and the water was 16 degrees. Thanks for reading Cheers Ethan

    Braid

All of my reels have braid but my dad got a lot of tangles and was getting frustrated so he went back to mono
  17. Yes there are fun and I saw it take the bait and run was so excited couldn't stop shaking haha
  18. Oh yes it was very even with the bream and trevally. But the king won by far
  19. We released it without any harm to it, swam off like a rocket
  20. Hi all, got to tunks last night at 6ish as I had work. Got there and no other boats. Went to sugarloaf bay to sleep on the boat. Got three yakkas and two slimies before bed. Got up at 7 the next morning and went to the heads straight away but was a bit tough so went to watsons to try for squid but it was quite windy there aswell. Decided to go back to middle harbour near balmoral. As soon as we got I the spot the fish finder was going off. Had a really good burly trail going castes out with a tiny but if pillie and hooked a 49cm trevally first cast was so stoked. After a few trevally it quite then we say a rat kingfish in the trail and it pretty much hit the motor it cam that close. It swam off I castes a tiny bit of pillie and within ten seconds it cm back with line hanging out of its mouth wind of slack and I hooked it. Almost cut my off on 3lb braid on the moorings near by. Had about 5 long hard runs and struggled to get line back on my 2004 daiwa sol haha. Got it near the boat tried to net it missed mad a massive run back down again got it up and got it first go was so stoked. First kingfish in two years, ended up being 55cm small but great fight and stoked. Caught about another 8 bream, 15 trevally and one leatherjacket. Has a great day to be out little wind and is many fish! Thanks for reading hoped you like it. Will post photo of kingy when my phone charges up Cheers Ethan
  21. Yes there are many crocs and before you get there have a plan to get out of the water, just in case if you fall in.
  22. Hi all, got to tunks at 3ish yesterday arvo for a plan to go to the fads which didn't go to plan. Got to the bay where we were going to stay the night started burleying up, which in 10mins got the first fish in the boat which was a 25cm pinkie. For the next hour and a half landed 9 pink snapper ranging from 22-28cm and two bream one was 32cm which out up a massive fight and a 24cm bream. Then started to try and get live bait I the tank when it hit dark. Got two yakkas, two massive slimies and about 20 tailor which were annoying losing all my hooks. Got up at 7ish today started burleying and didn't get a thing so decided not to go outside, then started casting zman 2.5 grubz in watermelon red, was on first cast with a 20cm snapper pretty happy that the money was working. Ended up with 4 snapper biggest 26cm. Then called it quits to head back. My brother fished at the boat ramp for a bit and landed 4 bream biggest was about 15cm and two blackfish one was about 25ish and the other 15ish again. All up had an alright time was good to get out on the water. Weather was really good with no wind water was 22 degrees. Hope you enjoyed the post. Cheers Ethan
  23. Hi mate I was up there last year this time and I just fished off the wharf at the river mouth while I was there. We caught loads and loads of grunted which looked exactly like a small jewfish. I fished at night in the run in tide with pilchards. Fished during the day didn't get one. But if you go at night make sure your we'll away from the edge of the wharf and have lights with you. Good luck Cheers Ethan
