Hi all even though I have a boat I am goin to do some land based fishing in the arvo on sat day or sunday because of cricket both days. I was thinking goin to yarra bay never fished in botany before but I thought maybe I could get a couple of flaties for dinner. But any other land based spots in middle harbour, sydney harbour or botany. Any advice with be great about rigs sp and bait.

Hi I live on river road on the Leonay end and have seen loads of fish jumping out of the water. They are mullet, herring or rainbow trout can't really tell as they jump on the other side. But since the rain and the dam there have been loads of fish jumping out of the water but the water is really brown at the moment and will clear in a couple of days.

Put it down on da bottom with a sinker

I have never been jewfishing before but for baits- yellowtail(yakka), squid, tailor, mullet,slimy mackerel and the occasional pillies and prawns. Also fish the tides and full or new moon.

Hi guys Goin to the hawkesbury river this Sunday or the following Sunday for jewfish. I have never been jewfishing before and I was thinking if I do it would be the hawkesbury. I heard Westmead u can get livebait but other spots would be good to. Also with the live bait was thinking Juno flint and steel and Broken bay, but I only have a 4metre tinnie with a 20hp I will be putting in a parsley bay but will travel for the fish. Any advice would be great Cheers ethan

Hi everyone, I have been goin into middle harbour quite a far bit but I can't find any good spots. I have been to places and have caught 1 or 2 fish then go back again next trip and catch any. My best day in MH 5 fish for 3h 30min I just want to go and have fun catching fish all day. I have got a boat and have only put in at Tunks park. I will be goin in MH on Sunday morning for sunrise for bait schools and I will be bring mates and promised them a fish. Any help would be good. Cheers

I live on river road next to the Nepean river and find under the free way bridge on the boat ramp side good for mullet with a float with about 50cm above a size 8 or 10 hook. Also the warf which is opposite the boat ramp with produce a lot of herring and mullet.

Hi guys I bought a vibe in winter last year but lent it to a uncle and just gave it back there r three holes on the top of the vibe and I'm just wandering wat hole would work the best for bream and flathead. Here's a pic of it.

Hi guys Been in middle harbour about 20 times hoping for a kingie no luck so was just wandering if anyone could give me any advice. Also probs goin out this weekend but mite just go for bream flaties with sp any particular sp I should be using and any spots would be great. Cheers Ethan13

My old man fished there when he was a kid and caught blackfish off the rocks. Also what beach was the salmon being caught.

Hi Guys Goin down to Bendalong for a week on Friday, I have been there once last year caught a couple of wrasse and nice flathead all on cubed pillies drifting. Just if some cold give me any advice on where to fish also have heard that there are snapper there to which soft plastics for snapper and flathead or bait. Also we do have a boat but can't go to far only have a 4m tinnie with a 20hp motor. Cheers Ethan13

Hi Guys Sorry didn't post this earlier but went out last Friday for kingies. As soon as we got on the boat at Tunks there was a school of tailor in 3 casts I caught 2 we would have stayed but picked up a friend at clontarf. Got to the Balmoral kelp grounds was there for like 1hour got 3 little fish I have never seen in my life my friend caught the 3 fish then as soon as we were about to leave caught a drummer or blackfish on a handline with size 8 hook on bread was very fun with only using 4 pound line. Then went to middle head there for about 30min with the little fish caught nothing then went around next to the navy base caught zilch. Just released them and went to the marina to get a coffee. Then just dropped my friend back up at clontarf then went to the spit for squid didn't get a bite then just threw in the towel and went back. Also going out on this Friday again could any of uses give me any good spots to use yakkas and slimies for kingies. Thanks Ethan13

Hi Raiders I really want to get some kingfish on Friday but can't go offshore only in a 4m tinnie. Need help where to use the yakkas and slimies I know where to get them but had no luck using them for the past 4 times , very disappointed. Also any lures u recommended please tell me. Cheers Ethan13

Hi Fishraiders Going out in my 4m tinnie on Friday getting on the water at about 6am at Tunks Park. Hoping to get some live bait at Balmoral kelp grounds. Been out using live bait 3 times and had no luck. Could anybody tell me any good spots to use them. Tight lines Ethan13
