Wont be on the water till about 9 but plan is to grab some livies, then troll around for a while then find a spot to burly up and then soak some bait. 11. I have just found out that I can use my mates place up at Lemon Tree Passage over xmas and new year and I was wondering if anyone had any tips. I have just got a kayak that I will be taking along with me so any tips for that or anywhere land based would be appreciated. I will mainly be using lures but may take my yabbie pump also. Not after any super-secret spots but a general locations for bread and butter fish.

  15. Get out on the water and test it Nah seriously I would say about 55km/h depending on the weight
  16. Yes it is closed and I would not be boating there. Check out this link Navigation Restrictions
  17. Down south at Gerroa there is a guy that regulary goes out to the Banks and does well. He has it all decked out.
  18. I am normally up the river at least twice a week but not this year as with the fish ladder upgrade at the Penrith Weir it isn't fishing as well as the previous years. There are still the odd fish up-stream from the weir but most are holding below. If you can get down there with a yak then you will clean up. That is your best option shortly followed by land based below the weir. Just bear in mind that there is a fishing closure for about 100 meters just above and below the weir. But there are plenty of great landbased spots on both the eastern and western side as you walk down towards the quarry road.
  19. I don't know what you guys think, but if they have had them for 16 years then they are not all that fresh
