    Can you use weed that grows in freshwater? I have a pond with waterfall setup and it has a heap of the stringy green weed growing on it all of the time?

    Gday, Have not been up there myself in the last month or so but my mate was there last week and got 3 nice rainbows on the downrigger. Seems as thought they were all holding down deep. Not a touch on the surface at all. Good luck with it.

    If only everyone had the same atttitude. Everytime I fish somewhere landbased I have rubbish bags in my tackle bag and I always fill them with someone elses rubbish and leave the place celaner then when I got there.

    Last october I spent the long weekend up there and we were in and out of the creek at all tides in a 5.4 meter quintrex bowrider. It does get very shallow but we found that if we took our time then it was fine. I don't know if it was a weekend of higher then normal tides though. But we had no dramas.
