  1. Pity about the kings but nice work on the bream. You can get the Fishraider stickers from Fishfinder Tony - a sponsor on here. He has Fishraider caps as well. Cheers Greg
  2. Looks like you guys had plenty of fun out there. Plenty of action and a top catch. Cheers Greg
  3. That's the way !!! Top stuff. Cheers Greg
  4. Why do they waste there talent on hacking? If they have that sort of knowledge they could be earning plenty of money in the "Real World" and actually working. Glad everything is working again - I've got withdrawal symptoms. Cheers Greg
  5. There is also a liquid version if they have trouble swallowing tablets. I bought some for my son but haven't tried it yet. Cheers Greg
  6. You must of had a ball up there. How much was the trip? I will have to start saving as it sounds like a fantastic trip. Do you have to book as a group or do they book individuals and fill the boats themselves? Cheers Greg

If you do a search there is already plenty of info there. Do a search on Jewgaffers posts as well. Also, someone has posted today in the Fishing Reports section about catching 3 jewies with the location. It is probably worth reading. Cheers Greg
  8. I'm glad someone else asked the dumb question Nice jewie haul Cheers Greg
  9. Great feed of flounder there - they are very tasty fish. Even though it was a slow start, persistence paid off and you got a nice haul. Maybe you should have tried some soft plastics on the flatties if they were not taking bait. Cheers Greg
  10. What a nice fish. That will take you years to beat and you will probably tell your kids about it. How deep were you fishing when you caught it? You got my vote. Cheers Greg
  11. Imagine trying to fit that sucker in the Esky. Hey, I only caught one fish today !!! Can you imagine the look on the wifes face when you ask her how shes going to cook it for you !!! I don't know what you would do with that much fish - I hope he has lots and lots of friends to feed. Cheers Greg
  12. Sydney FADS will be deployed by the middle of November at the latest. The GPS position will appear on this website once they are deployed. http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/recrea.../fads/locations Cheers Greg
  13. I'm heading out with Ross on Sunday. Looks like a good day for it. Hope we catch a feed. Cheers Greg
  14. I got to the part when you said you were testing the rod for the Brother in Law, and I thought to myself, how has he lost the rod this time !!! Ceph, you are improving mate. You are keeping more rods than you are losing these days Nice result on the jew and flatties which makes the day better after the poor start. I had a similar experience on Fathers Day. Took ages to get the engine started, and then when it did the steering had ceased due to lack of use !!! After 10 minutes had the engine going, but it took another 30 minutes to get the steering working properly. Looks like I need to do some more maintenance before the next trip Cheers Greg
  15. That's a nice haul of fish and congrats on your son. Just seeing them pull in a decent fish is the best reward you can get. I have been waiting for a flat day to take my 7 yo son out, but he was playing soccer on Sunday and I was working Saturday so we missed out. Next time !!! Cheers Greg
  16. Yep, both are mine. You will have to drop in and introduce yourself. Cheers Greg
  17. You could have knocked me over with a feather when she said we should be going fishing, as that is not her!!! (Neither is car racing and I haven't got her to the track yet). She then informs me that my 7 year old son has to tell the other kids what he did on the weekend, and it has been the same stuff for months. Fishing would be something good for him to talk about !!! I think I need to thank the 7 year old more to thank than the - Bloke in Training !!! If I can get him on my side, life will be great !!! Cheers Greg
  18. Our Drfit Car is racing at Oran Park on Saturday and the and kids have decided we are going fishing on Sunday. We will hit Sydney Harbour. Probably around Middle Harbour/Spit area unless it is calm and maybe I will venture outside if the kids and can handle it. Cheers Greg
  19. Ceph, most of us store ours rods in the boat or the garage, not the bottom of the harbour !!! My boat looks like a porcupine when I go out, and that's without anyone else bringing their rods.. Bait rods, trolling rods, casting/spinning rods, bottom bashing rods, live bait rods, etc. Cheers Greg
  20. Good work on the sambo's. Care to share your cooking skills with us? I'm sure there are plenty of people that would love to know how to prepare and cook them. Alternatively, dinners at your place !!! Everyones invited It never ceases to amaze me the talented people that are Fishraiders. From Doctor's to Chef's, artists to computer geeks, and everyone in between. Cheers Greg
  21. The has suggested we go fishing on Fathers day - this will only be her second time on the boat (as I bought the boat without permission!!!) The actually suggested the trip and we will be taking my 7 yo son and 18 yo daughter. Knowing the family, we probably won't hit the water until 9.00am or 10.00am but HAVE to catch edible fish - ie flatties, reddies, trev's, etc The sea is going to be flat as a pancake, but not sure how they will handle being outside fishing. The likes taking pictures, so I thought Sydney Harbour might be good for both. We could also go to Botany Bay or Port Hacking, but it wouldn't be as good for photos. If I go South Coast, it would only be outside fishing and if they don't handle it I have missed the perfect opportunity. So I am leaning towards Sydney Harbour. I need some never fail places to fish in Sydney Harbour and outside the heads. Where do you suggest? We have worked out Balmoral for livies, but last time couldn't find anywhere to turn yakkas into fish. I will also buy some pillies, prawns and squid for bait. Cheers Greg
  22. Are we going to be affected by APEC fishing in Sydney Harbour and will there be any problems accessing boat ramps? Cheers Greg
  23. Your a crack up Ceph Every time I read your posts I am half expecting you to either lose a rod, catch a rod, or both !!! Good work on the flatties Cheers Greg
  24. Hi Sammy, You need a bigger esky !!! Nice haul and top tucker. Cheers Greg
  25. I have only caught yakkas as well, however a couple of times they have been smashed by something else but know idea what it was. Someone on here posted up that they landed a kingie on one!!! Cheers Greg
