SQUID,but I had put a light coat of Ultrabite(clear liguid,fish attracter) on it.Found that stuff works well.I had it on the flathead I got yesterday as well.Squid also.

On a magic day outside in the early hours of the morning I caught my largest snapper at 35cm,to smash it minutes later with a 58cm Snapper.I was yahooing all over the boat in the restricted space I have.I was cheering for a couple of minutes.We then had a 5 foot Hammerhead circle the boat twice on the surface of the waterabot 12 foot from the boat so we left the location to another spot when I got a double hook up I looked down to see what it was and to the left of the boat was a 6 foot grey nurse.So I left.On the way back in we saw a couple of dolphins,what a day .It was one of the best days although only a few good fish to see all the sea life was terriffic. SUFFO

I caught this at Brooklyn today around 2:30p.m.I had a few pics taken and a quick measure and let her go.My daughter (7) caught her first flattie but only 21cm.Not much else around though another angler had caught a couple of Kingies at Flint and Steel. Acouple of celebrational drinks tonight,because I can. Cheers Suffo

Hi all, going to Hallidays Point at chrissy into the New Year.Does anybody know of any boat ramps at Hallidays Point or is Foster the closest? Any recommended GPS locations up there that have produced well,that you dont mind sharing? Anyone else heading up that way over the break?Fitted fishraider sticker on my boat ESCAPE. Hi Ross, anyone in thier right mind who comes across these people with your gear should give them a good floggin, take the rods off them and organize to get them back to you. Try all the local Pawn shops as they will want cash quick if they are this desperate to start with. Hope they come up and get back to you. Cheers SUFFO

I bought a cheapy for my 4.5M fibreglass and did the trick outside Botany but I think they have a recomended length to the size of the boat. Example the length of the boat X 4or 5 I think should be the length of your rope. Please don't quote me on specifics but something like that. Mind you in a video I saw the sea anchor out plus a 40 litre esky.Made me laugh.

Cheers Geoff, 2 stroke 85 Johnson Javelin about early 70's but well looked after,doesn't miss a beat.I am lucky enough that the boat usually hits the water every few weeks during winter and with the hot days rolling in hopefully once every week or two.I have not left it to run out of fuel but thought it might pay to ask. I was wondering the same thing as I have had my boat a short time now and I was having it tiilted up, but when I went to start it I had difficulties at times(it is a old motor,but purrs beuatifully) but I now leave it down and find it starts easier. Not knowing alot about boat motors myself and learning quickly, should you run the last of the fuel out of the engine by disconnecting the fuel line before storing even if your next trip is only a week away? What about the lay of the gearbox oil with it tilted up?Will it effect anything?

Hi Dan, I have purchased plenty off Ebay and had no problems at all with it.The occasional slow package but perfect otherwise.I bought my NAVMAN colour fishfinder off Ebay and savevd about $280 AUS. If you are worried about buying, look at how many items the seller has sold in the top right corner and look at the feedback score under that.If they are above 98% I would say you are pretty safe.Also check if they had any negative feedback in the last 12 months and judge it from there. Don't forget sometimes you can not please everybody,but read what the buyer wrote about the seller.I also bout my handheld GPS off there and saved another $150.Two of my favourite toys.If you pay by Paypal they have some type of insurance to I think but check up on it. One last thing check how much shipping is always and if you are unsure send a email asking how much to send to the wonderfull OZ before bidding or buying.Hope it helps. Goodluck with it all SUFFO

I caught a few of these critters or something very simmilar at Foster/Tuncrurry in October.Look like whiting bodies whith great white heads. Did not give it the opportunity to remove any fingers and let it keep my hook.

Dad said it tasted great,what a hot spot it turned out to be.We got this fish,snapper,mowwie,rock cod,wrasse.Going back shortley and that is the first spot I am targeting. Sorry about the blurr. Crappy camera.

I seem to find these buggers everywhere.When watching Fishing WA on foxtel I watched the host use these as a filleted bait and landed some monster fish that I only dream about.So if you are getting low and hook up to them,use them as it is my intention with the next encounter with them.Maybe that dream fish will rock up.

My boats name is ESCAPE and it is what I do with all the available time I have.I boss has called it the other woman because I spend more time and money on the boat then her.
