All caught using bait...big block of servo pillies...saome garfish from Narrabeen bait n tackle...and yakka & taylor fillets...all flatties caught using all the different baits...

Fished the lake this morning in a tinnie belonging to another member of our fishing club...fish of the month is bream and we caught plenty of just under...and our size in our club is 27 minimum...they were all 25- 26 bar one keeper which came in at 28... However we did evry well on Flattie's...6 all up in a 2 hour space as I had to go early being the missus b'day today...biggest was 68 cm and smallest ones were 49-50 cm...here's a pic of my 3 that will be entered and weighed...for once my daughter didn't come along as we had young nieces staying over and without her hogging the hits I got some fish...

I've been out off Longy 3 times as I don't have a boat and a mate has taken me there...along the same lines as you...caught heaps of just undersize kings every time... But they're great fun still...

Where abouts at the lake do you fish for the Blackies ? I normally target fish with baits there and try for Blackies off the wharfs...being 5 minutes away from the lake I'd be keen for a pointer as to where to try for them...if you've left some that is...

You guys are on fire...well done...we haven't had a chance to fish much due to heavy workload but just started a 3 week break so will be wetting a line definitely...

I saw her a couple of weeks ago at the Terry Hills Tavern having dinner with 3 other ladies...she looks great for her age...lovely set of pins on her...the others looked like they were in their sixties or so and she looked 20 years younger than them...

Bummer...I'd be joining you if I hadn't already sunk a few cold ones already before reading this...good luck anyway Roosterman...

What a small world Kelvin...Sean belongs to the same fishing club as me and my daughter and admittedly I hadn't looked at Fishraider all last week and he came up to me at the pub last night asking me if I knew of the site and your alias etc...I remember you telling your story when your trailer stuffed up...I'm not surprised Sean did that either...he is a good bloke and even cleans our trophy cabinet which is not really his job but he's that sort of person... He was pretty happy with the days fishing...nice to see the pics as well... Good report and some top notch fish there...

Is what you call the "wall" just to the right side of the pool there at the picnic area ?

A good eye accompanied with an air gun or bb gun could see them off as well...you end up with a bit more berley as well...

What's the deal with the kids always ending up with bigger fish than the parent...I been pipped by my daughter on about every species except for Kingys which she hasn't had a go at yet... Well done Tinnyboy...that's a stud fish there...

I've always wondered about the dam...might take Cassie down just for the fun of fighting some fish on light gear...

They are delicious...skinned and filleted and you have a nice slab of lobster meat...

The first time I get out on a boat in the harbour for a fishing session close to 2 years and they start claiming they saw a "whale"...

I've been meaning to ask the Blackie experts...can they be caught at night or are they a day type fish... ?

I've got the day off tomorrow...Thur 4/10...would love to join someone in a boat fishing Middle Harbour or Pittwater as I'm based on the Northern Beaches and it's a short drive for me to Roseville/Little Manly or church point ramps...happy to help launch and clean boat afterwards and contribute to fuel and bait costs...bascially just get out and chase some Kings or good fighting pelagics... Otherwise I'll just fish landbased if no one needs company or is right already... Cheers... All done...got a ride for tomorrow...

I'm a Rooster fan but living up here on the Northern Beaches Manly's my second team and I always go to any night games at Brookie for the last 10 years as it's close and good to see NRL games up nice and close...so I've grown fond of them in a way...plus Beaver's dad's a drinking mate at my local.... GO MANLY..............!! How bout the camera in Storm's dressing room at half time...see the whiteboard...the word "WRESTLE" in big bold letters...they don't just aim to tackle the opposition...they want to wrestle them into awkward positions and slow the play the ball as much as possible...

I too hit Balmoral with my daghter and have only in the last month started targetting Blackfish there...looks like the wharf will be surrounded by floats soon with everyone switching to targetting Blackfish if they keep seeing the raiders being succesful there...
