    Squid

Quick question. Are squid seasonal or is there a better time of the year to catch them. Also is there a massive difference between night and day?

  22. Ok raiders i need everyones opinion. My mate and i have decided to get into bass fishing as it looks excillerating to an extent. One minor problem. The only thing i know about bass fishing is what they look like haha literaly have no idea. I need everyones advice and info starting from tackle through to central coast systems through to bait or lures. Times of year day tides moons. Need to find out literally any little bit of info possible. Anything helps raiders. Cheers heaps.
  23. Hey all further to this discussion. I have finally got my set up ready to go. Tackle is a 7ft 3-6 kilo graphite rovexrevenge rod with a daiwa revo inshore reel 4000 8 ball bearing using 6lb braid with 10lb fluro leader. Approx 2m in length. Hooked to the end a snap swivel then got a range of metals between 10gram through to 40gram. Is this set up sufficient. Anything i should know. Also i seen on my rod it says lure weight approx 5-8grams? Does this mean i cant use 20-30gram metals?? Cheers
  24. Haha yeah just washed away. Haha. I live at lake munmorah but we are happy to wait it out a few weeks or until a time that suits yourself. Really really appreciate the offer. Do you mind if i ask what you chase and are you bait or lures or even both. Thanks heaps anthony
