hey fellow raiders, I have always wanted to get into beach fishing and never had the patients always thought i was lucking out, After the missus bought me a new beaut beach spin combo for xmas I have decided to get a bit more serious, last week i caught a meter plus wobbegong and the fight got me buzzinfg for it and from all the info I have learnt from this site I know patients is a vertue. Any tips of beach fishing guys ie central coast locations, rigs, times/tides/swells and most of all HOW TO IMPROVE MY CASTING DISTANCE!!! hhahahah cheers guys....and gals

Yeah it is more than ok. I bought a jet ski from qld and registered in nsw for 1st time and needed to get boat codes and stuff but you should get a bill of sale from the old owner to prove yu didnt steal the boat. I lost mine from the orevious owner and had to fill out stat decs and stuff. Good luck!!

Theres a tidal sand bar if your coming up from little creek heading towards the main bridge just before you get to the bridge on the left. I caught some stonkers there last aussie day weekend. Ill be there myself again this weekend. Keen as ) good luck

Rightio so im slowinf becoming a better fisherman and having more consistent results very very much with the help from this site and everyones advice. My main learning curve is to put in the hours and do heaps of research. So now im having better results by choosing the right tides/times/baits/areas for right species. Now I need help with barometer readings. I notice alot of people talk about the barometer levels and that. I need to know anything and everything about it. I use the app willy weather so always have a barometer reading in my fingers just need to know when is the best time. Is it different for different species. Does it vary to beach foshing or kayak estuary fishing? Thanks guys

Sorry for late reply mate. Yeah it is such a gorgeous place. We had a ball. We caught ALOT of fish. Unfortunately at the moment there is a lot of small fish in the lake. We did get some crackers though. I beat my whiting pb measuring 42cm. Soooo stoked on that. Good luck mate
