A bit like Byron said, you had it all planned out didn't ya mate....take the fellas out, see what their patience is like, see if you can score anything...but what you were really thinking was "hahaha just wait till I show these fellas this other location, the Cooks River, then they'll be in for something." Then out comes the skill and awe, look here fellas, you were doing it all wrong, this is how you've gotta do it!! Can't let em get into the goods right away now aye Stewy, gotta test their patience and frustration first. Sounds like a nice session and would be much appreciated by the fellas. The first few pics are from Newcastle, looked to be the same area where the Pasha got stuck before. The following are from a beach in the Port Stephens area: I hope it gives someone a rough idea now of how the weather was on the saturday of that weekend, and this was along the coast, not exactly out wide in the deep.

Without a name and not knowing this person, I heard someone mention being fined up at the entrance for what I'm assuming to be exceeding the limit of whiting. From what I overheard, they went on about the money received from giving the whiting to others made up for the costs without a worry, with the view that they'd get back to doing what it was that they were doing, with a fine seeming to not be enough...that's another sad issue. This thing that you mention PJ, really disappoints me also. Just seeing a dead fish left on a beach or practically murdered hurts me. I recall seeing a number of dead seahorses along the beaches around port kembla one year, that really hurt me. The only thing I thought to have caused it would've been pollution. A few leatherjacket were also dead on the beach also. Horrible sight

I was up around there on saturday and the conditions were absolutely awful, I agree. Surprised to see a few fishos actually out there off the shore, boating is just nasty. Nice catches there though nevertheless

I haven't been up there in a while but the amount of people was unbelievable, especially the north channel. So many in there wading, then around the wharf area quite a few boats and the majority of the grass shoreline full!! Stopped for bout half an hour, didnt see anyone reel in anything but weed weed weed. Too much of the stuff, same happened to me, hence, the shipping out elsewhere. Just unbelievable how many people ! Definately a nice day too

Very nice of you to help out the bird, its a shame to see things like that. Not so good about the eels and leatherjacket either Was a nice day at least so hopefully that was something for you to enjoy and get out of it
