  2. The Caribbeana could be stronger, I use the climbing Caribbeana in Stainless Stean, The way you put rope to the Caribbeana you should allow extra about foot and what you do after tie the not then then just cable tie rope up the length. I also like your drum idea.
  3. Yes as njsconst , Say and his on the mark, Also i would when the holes are filled i would tape around the holes as well in a triangle shape the way it is and resin that as well inside and out. I will send you a PM.

  11. Hello I been to the rocks myself quite a few times and no matter how many times I go up there I always go and speak the MARINE RESCUE and get a run down from them , Also go down and have a look at the bar when its low tide running out and coming in that's the worst when that happens, Looking at the bar this way show you the worst parts, Yes web cam from RMS shows you but not whole bar only from the end of the bar to the ocean , But even on high tide it to can be bad due to swell , I myself only come back about 2 to 3 hours before and after the change of tide. I have had a few close calls there let me tell you, So SAFTEY FIRST. sometimes you can go out its ok then when you come back its different and it can scare you. So sit back and read the waves NO RUSH. There is 3 ways to go out 1, the big boat ramp from/to the big bar, 2 Back Creek which I don't think will suit you even Back creek there is a way you go out throw there ,AGAIN talk to MARINE RESCUE, 3 beach launch but you need a permit. And the most important LOG IN WITH MARINE RESCUE. Also about 60meters before you head out the main / bar, This 60meters before the end of the bar is the worst when going in or out , This you don't see on the RMS website that's why you go have a look. Good luck.
  12. 1kw is the go, Nice , But the 1kw will do, Don't worry about the 600.
  13. Pressure on screws when tightening them up, It might be ok and look ok but after a while due to pressure on the screws and flex etc. It cracks, So it in my opinion just use sealers on there own. No prob Zacnoel.
  14. I think the end of year show will be cheaper as they want to get rid of stock.
  15. Yamaha or Suzuki, Wait until the boat show in August you will get a better buy, I am.
  16. No the scales are electronic just cleaned it up. Lucky I need not have hardener in the mix. laugh at it now.
  17. Hello all, I have just started on my transom timber work , I am up to sandwich to 18mm plywood together , So everything ready to go , So got the scales out to measure what I need for resin so I started to measure up on the scales and seen a little resin on the scales, turned around for a few seconds the resin was everywhere , I had a spilt in the bottom of the plastic container, the resin about 1/2 a litter went everywhere lol lol , So Just a little tip check to see there is no cracks in your containers.
  18. Yeh Zacnoel. What's the issue.
  19. I have a bait tank just a little bigger, But I don't have any windows. A few things I think could cause your problems, Your tank might flex a little, Your tank might not be straight / even on the front so when its put together it cracks due to stress, Also when drilling holes in Perspex even after tightening your screws due to stress/Harding slightly of sealer its cracks, When sealing the Perspex and the pressure on Perspex holes /screws /sealer/ tank not straight/ banging from hitting waves just presser on the boat its self can cause this there are lots than cause this. Sikaflex or MS1 from worth products is the stuff but its that good you don't need bolts. Sealing if done propyl will last for along time, In saying this I would seal inside and out. Sikaflex in white you can get 2 types one that goes hard quick and one slow and they have white, Get the slow curing one, Ms1 they have black and white but I only recommend black there is a difference with the 2 white is not as good. Ms1 is called windscreen sealer but is the same as Sikaflex. I at the moment am doing transmon repairs on my boat and I took of some brackets of the rear of the boat that had black MS1,took the screws out and used a scraper to take the bracket of and so did the outer layer of glass as well its good stuff if used correctly. Good luck.
