  18. Got two chances of getting out wide in the boat so headed out in the yak for another arvo session why it wasnt raining first off tried flicking around sps for an hour and not one hit so it was time to get the trusty old prawns out first cast and i was on to a nice whiting had a nice couple of hours drifting every cast got a hit ended up keeping a couple of whiting and bream nice arvo on the lake theres plenty of whiting down there if your fellars are keen cheers mik
  19. here they are on the boat vertical for when your traveling and all you have to do is lift them up and twist them around to get them horizontal for trolling they have worked a treat for me we have caught marlin, tuna dolphinfish, and various species and only cost me 160 bucks cheers mik
  20. mate i have the 5.2 steesl blue water (which i think is the cannon runners now ) and i would recomend to any one that wants something for the family and a great offshore fishing boat they are a deep and very stable boat mik
  21. mate i did something similiar i got 10ft fishing rod blanks that were realy stiff from the tackle shop got them to glue a eye at the top and went from there for the base i went to the exhaust shop and got some pipe bent to the angle i wanted and size that would fit in my stainlees steel rod holder then i siliconed the rod blank into the pipe and in the bottom of the pipe i grinded a slot like the bottom of a gimble so it wouldnt spin in the rod holder than for the release clip i got some vention blind cord a release clip and a runner that i screwed to the exhaust pipe and ran the cord through eye and through the runner so i could bring it in and take it out worked for me no i have have got the same setup but no i got some outriggger poles instead of the rod blanks (thanks to the old man when we bought his boat there was some old outriggers and he didnt want them i will post some pics on the weekend cheers mik
