OR
Eastern Striped Grunter. Pelates sexlineatus

Second one could possibly be my mother in law.
How about that Tef1on, my wife and your wife must be sisters.

I've finally found out what it is. Looks like it's a False Trevally (Lactarius Lactarius). They grow to 40cm and occur around FNQ and NT top end, also in other countries. Definitely a strange fish. http://www.fishbase.org/summary/36
I vote for Dave.
1+ for Lactarius Lactarius

If I had a Guess, I would say

Not much for tea but a great day of memories
Awesome there with the Daughter Mate and memories just get better with time.
I had a great session with the daughter on Blue Swimmer Crabs over Easter, up at Brisbane waters so it was with hand lines, priceless.
As for the Tailor, couple of cuts across the thickest part then fresh grilled with a bit of butter........ Yum.

Thanks billfisher, I wonder how long the members will be able to keep it going. Looks like a developer's dream property for a big residential development.
Cheers
Paikea
Funny you should mention that. What I heard it was a set up that sunk the Club.
Have a bit of a Google around and if your sceptical like me it smells.
Oh and Joes mentioned ... surprise.

Stupid, Inconsiderate and arrogant people are just that.
People at the boat ramp that don't want to wait their turn, having a boat troll thru your lovely burley trail while floater baiting for Yellowfin, fishing at a spot (wharf or rocks) when you walk a fish over to your bag to have someone jump into the spot you were just fishing, spinning into a school of fish and someone trolls thru the school, Anchoring up to a spot when a Commercial boat of bubblies turn up and anchor within a few metres, Oh and don't let me start on the FADs.
Fisherman, Spearos, Scuba divers. The Stupid, Inconsiderate and Arrogant wreck it for every one.
And thats my RANT for the day.
