Has anyone tried this or downloaded this before and if so what do they think of the program???? what will they come up with next

  12. Hi all I have a N82 nokia and was doing some searching on the gps and noticed the water has none or little detail. Is there a program to download to add information to the waterways, eg. wrecks and places of interest or is the only way to get the mark is to visit it first and then bookmark it??? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Greg
  13. The kings are there......you just gotta find em
  14. i am just surprised that no one has asked who the Donko Bros are LOL!!! they sure seem to be doing good on the fishing front i mean they have only been around a few months and i am SURE that close to 1000....Yes One Thousand kings have been landed whilst in the company of the Bros.... When i was with them we got over 50 in 1 outing........i am only spewing as to when i caught my P.B my happiness was short lived because with 30secs Kelvin pulled out a hoodlem and put me to shame Tony seems time for the trophy to start working the inner waters... any decent specimens around?? have you sounded around sailors bay lately??? Wish i could have been there with you guys but i am stuck in canberra....Spewing... maybe next time
  15. Tony Well done on the fish champ..... a little birdy told me you guys did ok...... Did Kelvin let you take the fish out yourself??? i know he becomes aggressive when the fish are on a bite??? i also hear some snapped a rod on that trip. Either way top top stuff...... you should start posting some pics of the kings your have been getting recently
  16. 96cm? never heard of a whiting that big i have caught my fair few whiting in my day and winter is prefered for the larger species, Especially in The Georges, But 96 would be some kind of record..... Like the old saying goes : Seeing is believing
  17. LOL do you even know what a contender is??? 3 hours on the net and you still could not find the wreck..........Interesting.
  18. LMAO!!!!!! im a older member Oz.... i was in middle harbour today.....could not find the wreck, but also the water temp was 16.4 a rather big difference from your reading. so where would i find this wreck, seems every1 knows but me
  19. Thats AWESOME story.......... Well done on the fish, it wasnt a total loss i guess.......Well done.
  20. Top Report and Top marks for bearing the cold and staying out there when the going gets tough. Very intersting information in relation to wind/ weather changes, well noted. I found that very interesting.
  21. Good stuff @ least we know they are still around i guess. Shame about losing the others, but the larger ones will do the i suppose. i might get out there this afternoon and try my luck
  22. No offence mate but 20kg of Stike Drag would alone pull you into the water let alone 35kg.... i would get my scales tested. 7kg of MEASURED drag is hard for someone to stay on their feet, so your 20-35kg would not be a handbrake but infact...... a anchor. Also i have seen Kelvin with a number of hoodlems caught in sydney in all kind of conditions in all times of they year
  23. Jim all fish were caught between 9 and 12 meters in depth, i cant wait till the weekend to jig the headland, just look for the guy jigging like crazy and say hello. Just some cheap ass Surecatch 250 gram jigs, you can get them anywhere. the largest was 84cm, you will find the larger ones chase the jig whilst the smaller ones dont bother
  24. LOL to be honest i caught them on SureCatch jigs, not the most expensive you can buy them from &&*&*&, also though the jigging takes it out of you
  25. Hey all, been seeing a lot of report of kings and initially was not going to post this report but with some persuasion from my friend mick(pictured) i put this quick report up. got livies in the morining both squid and yakkas were willing to participate in the days activities, the day started off slow and we moved countless times before we found the kings, when we did find them they would SMASH!!! the squid, all my squid did not last 30 min:mad: but we had a few kings to show for it, i was throwing out small yakkas as well with no sinker RIGHT ON THE KINGS and they would swim around it, no interest at all. i am not a fan of yakkas so i used up all my squid then i started throwing out the 250gram jigs......on my first cast it got followed by 2 yes 2 kings....hmmmz so i threw it out again and started ripping it back to the boat, instant hook up. every other cast had either a hook up or strike or follow was great, landed about 12 kings between 3 of us and the good thing about the jigging was that only the larger kings chase the jigs whilst the smaller ones (50-70cm) shy away from a jig of that size, my 2 friends who dont get into the kings much were amazed and had a great day learning that kings could be jigged inshore. i cant wait till this weekend when conditions look good so i can jig around the headlands. hope you guys like the pic....obviously there were more kings, but a man can only carry so much By the way Mick Happy birthday....hope we can get out there this weekend and do it all again
