Hi there Gianni, just an idea, it might help ig you go and see the manager that spoke to you before and gave you permission to fish there and explain what happened today and how you were spoken to rudely, and ask if it is still ok to fish there, tell them that you never make a mess and always leave the area the same way as it was when you arrived, you might find that your welcome and he says yes, if so, ask him to request that his staff are aware that you have permission, I think you handled yourself great and showed more respect to that clown that kicked you out than he deserved lol. good luck Regards Dan

Yes we had a few laughs, Buttsy mentioned the ray, he hooks up and sees what he says is a massive flatty, he says, grab the net, grab the net, i pirouetted around and grabbed the much needed net, next he says , ahhh bugger, it's a ray, get me a knife lol get me a knife is all i hear. was a brilliant day out and what a beautiful waterway the hacking is, i have heard a lot of fella's talk about it, just have to do some research and find where the legal fish live lol, Thanks for a great day Craig.   6. Well, home safe n sound from my first Fishraider social, many many thanks to Stewy and Donna for organizing a great event. A huge thanks to everyone for making my family and i feel so welcome, sure the weather was fairly ugly but i think everyone had a great weekend, my daughter Chantelle and her best friend (Maddy) had sensational time. hehe Thanks to Stewy for getting Anne to pick up a rod for the first time in her life, hopefully she will get the bug the rest of us have which is fishing. Huge thanks to the sponsors for their support and how good was the bbq's, Stewy is pretty good on the tongs lol. see you all in July, regards Dan and family
  7. Berley up the water around you, use a size 6 Sabiki rig, you can get them from most Kmarts for $2.50 each, if you like you can chop up a pillie into small cubes to improve your catch rate, easy as thatCamo, let us know how you and your mate go buddy. regards Dan

G'day ParraBarra Man, On behalf of me, myself and I, I might take you up on that carp offer and fill up a bin. welcome to Fishraider, there are heaps of friendly members here that have plenty of experience and are all social. speaking of socials, there is a Fishraider social weekend in May at The Entrance with a friendly comp, come on up and meet some fellow raiders and throw a line in, It is a family event so kids are more than welcome. see the post under the Socials heading. take it easy mate, PM me if you like.   17. How good is Fishraider............ lol I had no idea there were so many fisho's out our way, The casting and knot tying is a great idea, i agree Victoria park is perfect Donna. Anytime someone wants to throw a line in, let me know, i'm an old bugger (50) years old, i think it is so good that there are normal people like us that love to fish and socialize.
