yes you certainly can..i bought an aerial that had a different thread and screw so I just drilled through and put a stainless bolt in it...works 10/10..rick

you could try spinning with 65/85 gram raiders or similar..half x quarters are popular..there are plenty of bonnies in that area at moment and always a chance for a king...rick

great report jeff pity there wasn't a few more for you..last trip the water was that green I couldn't see bottom in5mtrs..and there were slimies nearly everywhere we fished....I got done by something non snapper like so im guessin it was one of your yellowtailed mates haha....hope to get up there soon..will let you know when...rick

personally I wouldn't touch a rebuilt outboard..over the years ive seen too many fail after a short time...some may say otherwise but I havnt seen anyone keep a motor after having it rebuilt..rick

Bottom of the low tide and even better if its .4 or less try flatter beaches or sections of a beach steep angled beaches are no good you will still get some if a bit shelly or gravelly but fine sand is better

nothing wrong with campin in a cabin..i get one when I go to windamere..you don't have to pack so much crap...luv to try burrinjuk also goin to try and head for neils territory next year..if vanz reads this pm me I live close and might be able to organize a cod trip..rick

good to start them young..my son started at four hes now 20 and fished with me all weekend....had great time and caught fish.....as jeff said better than screens...rick

a trick I was shown that works really well is to put your finger bait in some stocking or pantyhose material the worms bite it and get their hooks stuck in it a bit and lets you raise them easier to grab..rick
