  1. also you may have twin fuel tanks and only one is filling...check if you have one fueline coming to filter or two..you may hve a joiner hose with tap and only one tank is full thus weight on one side..rick

  2. you don't have large amounts of floatation  so that's not problem..next time you launch  move people and eskies around and see if it changes..you may have to move battery to port   if you weigh 20kg plus more than passengers and they arnt as far to port as you are to starboard combine that with battery and anything else your side it will list...I have a vsea and my mate is 20kg less than me so we usually have esky and jump pack stored to port side to counter difference...your fuel tank may not be central  see if you can check location..it may all come down to weight distribution when loading boat before travel...rick

  3. im using the same rod reel combo  7ft 2/4kg  2500  8lb braid varying trace..i use this for sp flatties bass tailer an salmon and spinning in rivers for cod..in gorge country I go smaller and solid tip;ugly stik....this size combo is quite capable of knockin over solid fish...rick

  4. go down in hook size for starters..forget the circles for time being  go with a suicide or French hook..once you start getting more proficient maybe try circles..they are not as good as others on bream n trevally  and if there are tailor they will more than likely bite you off before you can set the hook....try 1  or 1/0 you may have more success...rick

  5. a sad reminder to boaties today with a vessel coming to greif on the bar at laurieton north haven...two rescued one deceased..every bar entrance I fish out of has huge signs about the wearing of life jackets when using bars...the waterways pull people over and fine them if caught at Swansea.....PLEASE WEAR THEM AND BE SAFE everybody...rick

  6. the amount of compression on a 140  wont start if you turn the prop by hand..no need to disconnect battery so long as key is off it wont fire..use a heavy hammer and piece of solid hardwood..start to flatten out bends in prop blades slowly don't hit to hard  take your time..ive done this to allys and stainless..if hub hasn't loosened you will save yourself dollars for ten mins tapping with hammer.rick

  7. hey baz you can have the second tank hooked up permanent..well the fuel line anyway..when needed connect to tank and prime line...leave the line off when not using..i personally take extra tank then siphon from on top of my bait table into main tank with jiggler hose...I carry extra tank up front to balance boat..you have options...rick
