are they barracouta or pike..where did you catch them..rick

hey neil depends on manufacturers specs older motors need heavier mix ...all good 'outboard oils' should have a rating of tcw3 written on bottle somewhere...its the international spec to comply with emissions and manufacturer warranty..rick
-
hopefully after weeks of wind fri arvo might be a goer for a run to broughton...any news from the bay guys....rick
-
make sure you use good quality tcw3 oil not just any old 2sroke oil....for an extra couple of dollars of oil its better than rebuilding a motor...rick

looks like a nice day on the water jon..rick

plus one with the boys..at 75/80 to one any load or revs would be a concern..there would be hardly any lubrication..if you looked at a chart of how the oil is fed into the motor from idle 120/1..thru to 50/1 it jumps to 50/1 by the time your doing 2000revs and stays at that for full rev range.....picking a halfway point between mix levels is suicide for that motor...im surprised it hasn't gone bang already...rick

nice work dave hopefully get up there soon weathers warming already..rick

I had a 4.3 clark c/c...I got a lid folded up that covered the entire dash area and was lockable with padlock..in open position it acted as windscreen/spray dodger..folded up and locked to windscreen frame...easy to design and make..rick

mate I have been on wharf at Swansea couldn't get hold of local officer so took it upon myself to kick over two buckets of undersize bream tarwhine squire back into the channel..the idiots took off in car when we put it to them and released all their undersize catch..local officer rang me later in the week and said Sydney fisheries inspected their house..we gave rego numbers..and booked them for numerous bag limit breaches..fish crabs pipis mussels oysters stolen off racks...freezers full of undersize fish...I personally felt good after ratting out these scumbags...just wish I had flogged crap out of them when I had the chance...rick
