    Hi mate whiting will take lures during the summer mouths I use poppers and walk the dog lures and have great succuss in getting fish .

    As I live in Drummoyne I also like to flick sp for bream and flathead in the Iron Cove there are some good fish to be had. Well done to your Daughter 34cm bream is one fine fish. looking forward to see the photos .

    Bream are saltwater fish I would use hard body and Sp lures .

    Used my Christmas left over prawns for bait for bream outside my place and believe it got two big bream one was a whopper 45cm . The other was in the 40 cm .

    Any day on the water beats being at home mate flatties always a good fish to get . AS for the boat traffic boxing day is one day I would not use a boat .
