  1. Hi Guys No contention with anything said in regards to water from the leg and the impellor, but for an addional question I bought a new Yammie 4stroke this yr and like many newer models it has a silent flusher, ie. a connector just below the block to hook a hose up 2, With out me refering back to the manual cause u know u have failed a s amn if u have to read instruction, LOL I have never used this as usually flsuhing in the afternoon so no neighbour issues, and was recommonded that traditional flsuhing is better From this thread this connection should not be used with the motor turning over would that b the common belief? Jon

  8. Hi All I have just watched the new strike zone and Dan's DVD and it occurs to me that rather than just the headlands there is a large number of larger fish productive reefs off Sydney. I have marks for a small number of the better known ones. HOWEVER this season I was thinking about some slow trolling inshore been Sydney and barrenjoey looking for reefs. Is there a chart/calcuation on how wide a beam your transducer will throw in a range of deapths. Eg using my GPS I was thinking of running laps between the heads and longy to find a big kingy home. Any ideas would be good. JOn
  9. Hi George I have glass boat but all the rollers r blue. and was wondering about the difference between the ribbed and the smooth owbble rollers. There also appears to b a grey colour availible? I will need to replace some of the gal pins that r all rusted. The delimea= the boat in the water, the trailer @ the water and no power for grinders etc, any ideas.?? Jon
  10. Hi All I have had a trailer boat for a few years now andhave not had to do anything to the roller, however on inspection a cpl of them look in a technical way to be rooted. What is the difference in colour? is it only colour or is there a wieght issue? etc. Allt he roller r currently smooth ones, what is the advantage of the ones with the ridges and where on the trailer would they run. I noticed the post below, perhaps my best bet would be to ask george to service it? jon
  11. Hiya I have a 6m boat and found tunks a well setup ramp, pontoon, tables nice park, but it was a very steep drive down, and the ramp itself was very steep esp on the low. I usually put in @ Roseville under the bridge, pontoon, ramp is long and wide, good parking, u need to pay or have a national parks sticker, cleaning table etc. And it is an easy run out to the the heads. Jon

    Dollies

Hi Guys I am going to hit the Broken Bay FAD anyone been there lately, looking for some dollies Jon
  24. Hi Guys I had one of these sitting in my kits for ages and was up at Port Stephen a few weeks back, in very ordinary condiotns and decided to skip them on the top as a trolled rig of the boat. WOW double and triple hookups on the one rig so 2 out was 4-6 fish per crank in Was smashed by bonnies, frigates and small stripes. Was a hoot skipping on the top at round 4kts watching the fish come out of the washing machine slop to hit the lures. Best fun I have had for $8 Jon
