  5. Bloody unbelievable and Great day out Scratchie, it was great seeing Brandon get his Snapper and keeping me laughing most of the day, I couldn’t believe I would end up feeling sore from catching to many fish. Did you feed jnr last night or starve him like he did to you by forgetting your food for the day. Woodsy

  17. It definitely was torture. It was a beautiful sunrise and that is another great thing about fishing seeing beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We definitely stuck at it Yowie. We may need to add the word perseverance to Scratchie’s saying about the 6 p’s, prior planing and preparation prevents piss pour performance Woodsy

  21. No fishing for nearly 3 months while my boat was In getting some work done on it. It was hard specially when we normally go out every week or 2 and I have Scratchie messaging me pictures of fish he is getting and how good the conditions are and asking if my boat is ready yet. So finally the plan was to meet Scratchie at little beach at 5.30, I couldn’t help myself I got there about 4.50am got the boat ready and then waited for Jeff. The wind was blowing a bit harder then was predicted we headed out to our first stop to get some some bait but 20mins of searching and trying we couldn’t get any. So off to Broughton we go, we pulled up at our first stop had a small drift and realised we weren’t really on the right ledge so moved just a very small distance started drift then bang like normal Scratchie is on and it looks ok (I must say it was netted perfectly haha, you get a lot of practice netting while fishing with Scratchie) it was in the 60’s range. Another drift and I get a small one just legal then nothing at all so a move to one of our spots that usually pays off, 5 or 6 drifts and dozens of plastic changes and not even a hit, so off we go again to a new spot that Scratchie wanted to try where we got a few hits but couldn’t bring anything in. So we moved again to another 3 spots the bait board was filling up with all the different plastic we were trying. So we got to the last spot and had 1 drift for nothing we shifted over a little bit for another and I put on this tiny little beaten up plastic prawn ( only the size of a Hawkesbury school prawn)threw it out and bang it was screaming off a little bit of a fight and in it came a 70s model so we had to have another drift now then off course Scratchie loads up again for another 60s model and we called it a day. I couldn’t count how many casts and plastic changes we made today and moves to different spots to try and track down the fish what a great day Woodsy
