After a long and quite successful record bait fishing, I have decided to go for the "better" option. For soft plastic lures. For a first try for flathead or anything that will bite on SPs in general, what should I use? In the ranges of gulp soft plastics, what weight and sizejigheads do you reccommend? I have a rod and location but how should I jig or reel it? Thanks guys

Hi guys, heading down to balmoral wharf this Sunday after a successful trip to Narrabeen produced a nice tailor decided to give another beach a try. How do I target trevalley on the wharf? There a definately trevalley there. Seen em in the water and being caught. What rig do I use? I have appropriate bait, tackle, hooks and sinkers. As they say, all the gear and no idea! Love to eat them and heard they are good fighters too. Is it worth investing in a net? Or can I lift them up? Is a float nessesary? What kind of areas should I cast into? Thanks in advance guys. Wow. Just wow. After planning and gathering information on Avoca, I realise that Avoca isn't Avalon beach. (How do I get those two confused). Is it anything like Avoca? EDIT: What should I do at narrabeen? I have yakkas, mullet strips, prawns and squid. Good? Not only do I feel really stupid, but I feel like this is everyone. . Yeah, it's that bad

Does anybody know if fishing at balmoral/Edwards wharf is allowed? Planning to go for Trevs but I heard some public wharves are banned. Sorry about so many posts (if you have noticed) just trying to speeded as much out of fish raider as possible before it closes. Thanks
