  3. if you are getting a snap swivel the smaller the less affect it has on the action of the lure

  5. definately have samaki or zman for plastics they are made from 10x material and are tougher than the other brands which is needed for tailor.
  6. Make sure you slow your lure down and make sure its on the bottom as has already been suggested smaller lure (i love Zman grubs) all those small bites could have been tailor big or small
  7. Like jimmys there should be whiting and flatties at winda woppa fished there once before and got a flattie and some chopper tailor

  10. I lost a samaki vibe the other day and it was a bugger, but if you doubt the quality i wouldnt do it i tend to swap to plastics in more snag prone environments
  11. there is no legal length for Trumpeter whiting, Sand whiting is 27cm
  12. you can get jewies of the nelson bay breakwall and pelagics but not sure what times of the year. but that is on the other side littlle gibber has tailor but the only live bait i have got in port stephens is off the nelson bay breakwall which was slimy mackerel but for that area flathead, bream and whiting would be your best bet im sure scratchie would be a lot more help for that area cheers
  13. Nice flattie soft plastics are fun and easy with flathead, just get a quality brand of soft plastics and watch something on youtube about catchin them and after a while you should start cracking them cheers
  14. jimmys is good for whiting on the sandflats from the sandbar onwards to the boulders live worms or as rick said yabbies

  16. the bream with what looks like the bite mark has saddleback syndrome
