Hey guys so im heading out to Stradbroke Island this weekend and was wondering if any of you gurus want to help me out with some tips/locations to try? Im mainly thinking of hitting the close reefs armed with soft plastics and livies in the tinnie, or just as happy on foot casting off the beaches/rocks (ive heard the pelagics runs close to the beaches here) Any advice would be awesome as ive never been much further past Brunswick grounds and normally head down the coast towards Yamba/Wooli cheers guys!

Has anyone had much luck out at the Byron Bay Fad? Ive heard good things (Dollies upto the 20kg mark) but the locals like to keep pretty hush about it?

Little fella taken off the local early morning on a slow drift with a slimy
Hooked another whopper nearly twice the size second cast after this but spat the hook under the boat! Maybe next time!

A few fish from the last few sessions at South Brunswick breakwall , free lining yakkas and poddys around the eddys and beach side hole

If your headed out alone or looking for company im pretty handy with a gaff and more than happy to contribute for fuel etc

The local reef just off north wall after the bait grounds can be a hot spot brother, taken good cobia and jew from there on plastics and livies my profile pic wasnt too far from there either!
