Seriously at one stage i just wanted to cry out for help....... i have never felt that drained out.....

Went down to clifton with a mate and his two kayak (viking Kayak) beautiful day... didn't realised how expensive the parking was at clifton.... Anywazzz got everything ready and went down the water (first time going on a kayak). Went out and omg.... didnlt realise how strong the water was and in no time we were like 400m out near the middle of the harbour...... had to paddle all the way back in omg my arms and my back are killing me so badly and on top of that thunder.... and started to drop buckets of water on us and on top of that my friend fell of his kayak. Took us like 2 hours to get back in........ when i got back near the wharf i end up falling off my kayak as well..... lost my rod and my tackle box.... worth few hundred dollars. And the best thing we caught nothing fishing for like 30mins? paddled for like 4 hours total.... LOL wanna go crazy..... got told off by the naval base dude because we were fishing to close to their wharf.... Never will i get a kayak..... or go on one again.... arms are killing me so badly....

Hi guys just wanted to ask a quick question, my freind has 2 kayak and i wanted to try sydney harbour for kingies becasue i've been seeing alot of reports from sydney harbour people catching kingies etc... 1: Where would be the best place to catch either squid or yellowtails? 2: Are they still useful if they are dead? 3: Do i need to keep trolling around on my kayak 4: What depth would be the best? 5: What kinda line should i use or what kinda rig do i need to use? 6: Would i be coming across a shark while in kayak? If so what do i do? (been watching too much shark movies) Been seeing alot of people on kayak targeting kingies on sydney harbour.

What is a Jewfish? i've tried for them like ...... seriously 40times..... never landed one or even a bite..... I don't really think they exist at all..... so i know for sure they are only a mystical fish like a hairtail. I've seen alot of reports posted with pictures.... they must be a made from a graphic designer..... well done on the computer drawing guys LOL... seriously... 40times and non...... kidding me.

When i saw your shoe i thought wow what a big salmon but i realised your feets alittle smaller then i thought.

Very very nice report there mate! Fishing seems to be more fun when your running out of baits and gears and you gotta look for the left overs, reminds me when i was a kid i would go to a wharf and look for fishing lines and hooks and i'll put the lines together to make it longer. But salmon going for a blackfish? LOL never heard of.

Have you guys realised there are so much shovelnose sharks around? Are they protected? if not are they any good eating?
