  1. Thank's Craig and Flatty hunter,Have not talked price yet,but supposed to be cheap. would that size boat be suitable for off shore work? Now that I am up at Taree I would like to get into off shore work out of Crowdy head for reef and small game fish.
  2. Hi, are Glastron a good boat? I have been offered a 18 foot Glastron,it is an old boat but tidy,has an old but running 135 evinrude starflight on it. it look's ok but any own one or owned one?

  5. Hi,I bought a boat which is boat coded but unregistered. the person I bought it off bought it unregistered and never regoed it,how do I rego it?

  7. It sound's like the gearbox oil level plug.better off draining gearbox,refill from the drain hole until oil come's out of the top level hole,refit oil level plug,then pull out oil bottle from lower hole and put plug back in.

  14. I have a net which is same as 'Enviro net' good net but bloody heavy and awkward with one hand when fishing alone,maybe try the rubber net's.

Going by the wiring diagram,you need to cut the wire coming from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid, Put the wire from the ignition switch to the "I"on gauge,the other end to the "S" on your gauge.the "g" is for an earth wire straight from battery I would think to be the best.and the "L" would be for your light in the gauge,connected tom your nav light's.

  18. It went ok,nothing to write home about,best thing was blowing the chrysler up.boat is pretty stable,an 80hp would be great. it handled my dad,brother and myself (all big bloke's)out of crowdy head on a not so perfect day pretty well. what size motor is on it?
  19. My dad has same looking boat with "Navigator Hire Cruises PTY LTD" sticker on it as well. his has a 55Chrysler on it.Which has blown up,waiting to repower it when he decides how big and how much he want's to spend.
  20. The constant power wire which goes straight to battery is to retain station presets and the clock,the accessory wire is the power wire which switches radio on. connect both to the same fuse. run it to a switch or disconnect battery when boat not in use.

  22. You could try some removalist companie's. they are alway's after back load's,and a lot of them have towbar's on there truck's.they can tow your boat with a full load in the pan.
  23. nice fish,I have heard that Junket tablet's work well to dry the stomach content's. should be able to get them from woollie's or Cole's desert aisle.

  25. There is a place up here at Taree called duraplas who make plastic water tank's,they also have some boat hulls in their yard which I presume they make,also canoes.
